 In society Right turn
The leader of the ATP Nikita Belykh published a program application called “Democracy. Reboot" . It sets out a consistent plan for the reconstruction of the democratic community. It is precisely that not facade repair of traditional democratic parties with sour brands, but a full -scale redistribution of the entire economy. In other words, click on a small button, the screen goes out for a while, and then the parameter loads flashes again. Including new ones. One of them Nikita Yuryevich outlined on the Council of ATP last Saturday: "The further we are from the Kremlin, the closer we are to power." This statement by the leader of the right contains two of the most important theses: a refusal to cooperate with the current regime and an application for power struggle. And Mr. Belykh said that "the ATP brand will not be an obstacle to the creation of a united opposition." We have never heard anything like this of the leaders of the ATP. Let's try to figure it out.
I foresee a lot of skeptical comments. And any skepticism regarding any statements of the leaders of this party and decisions made by its governing bodies I consider justified: for too long we perceived the ATP as part of the ruling regime. Local contractions with “United Russia” at the regional level and periodic criticism addressed to the authorities from the lips of the right -wing leaders did not radically change the picture. The ATP was still perceived as a party, if not completely built into power, then at least the following parallel with it, and its imaginary opposition, embedded in the original scenario, could not deceive anyone. That is, at the federal level, moderate criticism of the Kremlin’s very odious decisions, and on the regional, agreements with the local authorities and attempts (occasionally successful) to integrate into the ruling elite. In a word - a party of solid people who perfectly understand that, as they say, there is no reception against scrap, which means we will survive. But it became difficult to survive. For two reasons: support for the electorate, already miserable, recently began to inexorably strive for zero, and the business has ceased to give money. This situation is usually called bankruptcy. The appointment of the head of the Perm department of the ATP of Nikita Belykh to the post of leader of the party is an attempt to escape from bankruptcy. The proclaimed change of the course is nothing more than a pre-planned restructuring with a single goal-to save the party from collapse. In my opinion, today the main merit of Nikita Belykh is that he quickly understood two things: a) - this is impossible to do, b) - this is not necessary.
The ambulance and ruthless reprisal against the Democratic Party (or rather, over Mikhail Kasyanov, who did not receive the desired leadership in it) clearly illustrates one thing: party construction in today's Russia should be recognized as an absolutely irrelevant task. It seems, why was it to do this with Kasyanov? Why arrange this shameful farce with a parallel congress? What and to whom at this stage could be damaged by Mikhail Mikhailovich’s attempts to create a platform for legitimate political activity? Why push him into a radical opposition? A convincing answer to this question simply does not exist. Remember how a cruel boy answers the question of his grandmother, why did he crush Bukashka? "And so as not to live."
So the Kremlin simply cuts down to the root everything that falls into its field of view. The question is: what is the united democratic party today can be discussed if all the same trump cards in power? Such a party simply will not be registered - that's all. Or collapse at the construction stage with the help of money and power pressure. (As happened with the Democratic Party.) And United Russia will go to the polls with the Communist Party and the Motherland. And he will win a convincing victory that will be presented as a significant evidence of the democratic choice of the Russian people.
So, we do not need a new united democratic party? As an instrument of parliamentary struggle - of course, is not needed. Just because it, this tool, will not be allowed to be used for its intended purpose. A new batch should be created only in order to consolidate society on a rigidly opposition platform for the ruling regime. And it will gain political weight only by enlisting the support of the essential part of the country's population. And they will register it, they will not register - the case is generally tenth. Because the only task that can face a new party is not some places in the Duma, but one place, but in the Kremlin. And in order to solve this problem of the new party, you will have to go to the Union with almost all existing political forces in the country.
The moment when the Kremlin and United Russia will be one on one with a united extra -ideological opposition is the beginning of a full -scale political crisis in Russia, which will not be possible to resolve any showing elections. Such elections, as practice shows, only exacerbate such a crisis. This will be a real “reboot” of democracy in Russia. And the fact that the new leadership of the ATP declares the willingness to take a certain share of responsibility for an undoubtedly complex and risky operation cannot but rejoice - and encourages.
