Riots, arson and murders in Kondopoga led to the initiation of 14 criminal cases. 6 people were arrested on suspicion of murder, 47 are being held under administrative charges. As a result of a mass brawl on the night of August 30 in the city, two people were killed and several more were injured. The authorities were forced to intensify the investigative process not so much by their own consciousness as by the violent reaction to the interethnic conflict of the Chechen diaspora, the media and public organizations.
