German Konstantinovich Lukyanov was born in 1936 in Leningrad, graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in the class of composition (class of Aram Khachaturian), since the mid-1950s he acted as a jazz trumpeter, flogelgornist and pianist.
In the 1960s, he played as part of a trio with Leonid Chizhik (piano) and Vladimir Vasilkov (drums), in 1967-1969 he led the orchestra at the Jazz school-studio MVTU, in 1970-1973 he was a soloist in Big Bande Vadim Ludwikovsky, in 1973–1974-a solo and a solo and a solicit The second conductor of the pop-symphonic orchestra of Azerbaijan, in 1978 he created the Kadans jazz in Moscow, with which he recorded a lot and performed at domestic and foreign festivals.
