In contemporary art, ideas, finds, techniques and techniques move through some secret channels at a speed exceeding the Internet. On the newly opened Venetian Biennale, a computer project is demonstrated with flying characters (for more details about the Biennale, see interviews with Ignat Daniltsev ), and Marina Gertsovskaya in the Velta gallery launches computer flyers. In Venice, bronze Buddha is placed at the main exhibition - and Alexander Shaburov pays tribute to the founder of one of the oldest world religions in the Helman Gallery. At the exhibition in the lagoon, the pavilions are carefully filled with toys - and Arkady Natsonov in the "Fine Arte" arranges toy dancing of monumental sculptures decorating the pavilions of the former VDNH. In Venice, everything is done seriously and hot, with us jokingly, covering poverty with the sake of humor.
The “heavenly graphics” of the Hertsovsky and helped her photographer Pavel Kiselev - several white construction nets with a computer way of naked girls and boys, white and African American figures inflicted on them. It may seem to the reporter that young animals are caught in a fire during a collective jump from the windows of a well -known institution. The art critic will begin to recall something similar from the twisted murals of the baroque ceiling. I propose not to remember either the chronicle of incidents or the history of art. The project is interesting precisely the lack of any meaning, and it is not worth covering it with any intellectual tunics. Naked art. It also needs to be able to appreciate it.
From the songs of Vysotsky we know who the Russian yogis are. “Russian Buddhas” by Gelman is shown by Alexander Shaburov. Being in Nepal, the artist was fascinated by how on sunbeds under the sacred trees the natives rest in canonical Buddhist poses - a hand under his head. Probably, in these provisions he thought something native, Oblomovskoye, and he invited friends and conservation to pose in front of his soap dish. In addition, in Nepal, they say that if you take the same canonical pose before the deity, then you can show the "nature of the Buddha." Very convenient belief. There are artists, critics, curators and functionaries of the Ministry of Culture. The resulting photo series of more than forty photographs filled the Helmann gallery, which turned into a beach or a room of a rest house. And rightly, in the summer you need to rest.
Arkady Nasonov tried to arouse warm memories of the former VDNH, now littered with all kinds of lottery people from a bored artistic public. He asked the photographer of the chefer to make staged pictures-whale souvenir crafts in the pandan with monumental sculptures: doll children and bronze bull, grandfather-mod and “golden spike”, a bronze fountain and an outflow of papier-mash ... According to the author, this should cause uterine laughter. Not even squeezed out.
And then, having drove from Amsterdam, the Natsonov probably forgot that Moscow contemporary art was already protruded at VDNH. So: the doors are closed, the next station ...
PS June 18 in the Hermitage Garden will take place of avant -garde fashion defile. It seems that contemporary artists were able to attach to the festival of street theaters. On the 22nd, critics and artists who survived after the defile will take up discussion at the Institute of Contemporary Art on Sretensky Boulevard, in the workshop of Ilya Kabakov.
On June 19, the Tretyakov Gallery and Veterans of the "Left" Mosha are remembered by the retrospective of the artist Viktor Popkov (1932-1974). He has no anniversary. The older generation of the Tretyakov’s poppoks love for the “harsh style”, for the tough brush, which he painted the old woman and the rickety huts of the Russian North, for the sixties “Father's Overcoat” and for Kurba's Ornean, a good man of the local village imperishable, “A good person was a grandmother of aninis”. Then this "grandmother Anisya" for some reason was considered almost a front, a sign of disobedience to officialdom. But mainly Popkov is remembered by that Soviet artistic bohemia because of the prevailing myth. In the 74th, the artist, being in a fair amount of drinking, tried to remove the car on Gorky Street at the Gorky Street. "Carry" turned out to be collection. Popkov inadvertently opened the door, a shot rang out ... Then the whole of Moscow was fascinated that the hebists had dealt with the artist.
On the 19th, at the State Institute, art history (Kozitsky Lane, 5), the Polish Cultural Center in Moscow will show the exhibition "Between the figure and the background. Painting of Tomash Chekocersky and Yaroslav Modzelevsky." Previously, in Soviet times, the institute was a special sector - the "art of the countries of the socialist camp", the sector was considered the "left" and promoted the moderate modernism of the Warsaw Treaty countries. Now the sector is no longer, but old ties have been preserved. Therefore, there is an opportunity to return twenty years ago and see the then fashionable avant-garde and socialist art.
And on the 19th, in the Gallery "M'ars" Alexei Orlovsky will lead to "Kirov, 24-102". This is probably some kind of commander’s apartment. Orlovsky is a good schedule. The main thing is that he does not reside.
The restless Arkady Nasonov, having arrived at the visit to Moscow from Amsterdam, was bored with the "scoop". In the Fayn Art Gallery, he shot an exhibition-navigation "empty Olympus", devoting it to the former VDNH and the former gurus of Moscow Conceptualism Andrei Monastorsky. The continuation of his project "The anniversary of the disappearance (10 years without the USSR)" is the exposition "Gift Owl" in the exhibition hall "House on Brest" (2nd street Brestskaya, house 6). A wonderful subtitle - "Exhibition and book - dedication to grandmother." So - he will be alienated.
On June 20, the Museum of Architecture with the filing of the Italian Institute of Culture will put up in its branch - the "Pharmaceutical Order" - a collection of Muranian glass of the XV -XIX centuries from the collection of the Roman Palazzo Barberini. By the way, the best exhibitions of the next week (from the 25th to the 30s) will be in the same museum of architecture.
And yet. The exhibition project of architectural photography of Yuri Avvakumov "24" moves from the Museum of Architecture to the Moscow House of Photography for Ostozhenka, 16. Inquisitives - www.24photo.ru .
