Brzezinski's interview in La Stampa: "the defeat of democracy in Ukraine will allow Putin to create a new USSR." The old man knows that the Russian question is being resolved in Ukraine, and it is being resolved according to the Hamburg account. To hell with the vulgar talk about the clash of geopolitical, economic and other interests. The question is about the Russian space as such. The legitimacy of Moscow as a sovereign center of power is at stake.
For the first time since the collapse of the USSR, we hear real, not theatrical fear. Fear forced me to show my cards. The West is not fighting for Yushchenko and certainly not for the triumph of democracy. He is trying to drive the last nail into the coffin of an unfinished Russia. And he will go to the end.
He is ready, without a twinge of conscience, to sow chaos in Ukraine, to drown the Ukrainian people in a sea of blood, just to destroy his sworn enemy, the struggle against which has been going on for more than a century. And brainwashed boys and girls dancing the orange hopak on Khreshchatyk are for him nothing more than material from which, if properly processed, turns out to be good soap. Fuel for the furnaces of Auschwitz. Trump energy resource and energy carrier in expansion to the East.
And these advocates of independence are unaware that they are recognized as people, and not a “resource,” only in one place - in Russia, which is trying with all its might to avoid civil war. In Lisbon, the President of Russia tried to call the “European allies” back, pointing out that by their actions they were actually pushing their protégés to blood. However, it seems that the “velvet” myth is doing its job: the innermost essence of the velvet technology of seizing power is built precisely on the fact that in power in Belgrade and Kiev - from presidents to officers and sergeants - there are usually reflective humanists who would rather give up power than they will give the order to shoot. And therefore, they are unable to resist the rebellion, no matter how groundless, biased and anti-national it may be.
But what is more striking than the cynicism of Europeans is the irresponsibility of the leaders of the Chestnut Revolution. The leader of which takes away from his people the right not only to independence, but also to life as such, demanding this life as a sacrifice for his mission. The usurper has already proven everything by “swearing on the Bible.”
However, here the catastrophic weakness of the legal regime was revealed, which, despite all its advertised “gangster” essence, was unable to arrest and try the impostor; Instead, he mumbles something about negotiations and stalls for time. And this despite the fact that he has quite a few supporters within the country; but the regime is unable to mobilize them on the basis of an idea; no one wants to go to the barricades for the sake of the abstraction of the law alone. And therefore, the only system that guarantees the existence of power remains the connection with the leadership of Russia. In fact, it is they who take responsibility not only for Yanukovych, but also for Kuchma, and for the Ukrainian constitution, and for the entire thirteen-year post-Soviet history of independent Ukraine.
In the current situation, the worst thing is the threat of treason within Russia itself. God forbid our government to back down. If the government, roughly speaking, dumps Yanukovych, it with its own hands crosses out its right to exercise power. It is written that there is no real power in Moscow, and Russia is not a subject of international law. Then our government will certainly turn into nothing more than a colonial administration exercising administrative powers on the entrusted territory of the once former state. And never again will any people rely on the Russians, who have betrayed everyone and everything. Perhaps the word “Russia” itself will ultimately be erased as unnecessary.
And if, as a result of all sorts of behind-the-scenes negotiations, these eternal companions of public and transparent democracy, the question of holding a third round of elections is raised, then, apparently, we will be talking about the surrender of Ukraine. In this case, the Russian government will lose all remnants of legitimacy, and all the loud talk about restoring statehood will turn out to be nothing more than a bluff for the simple-minded electorate. Then the people will have the right to the revolutionary restoration of Russian power. Maybe, in a sense, this is for the better: at least, your hands will be untied. But I really don’t want to put up with and experience another betrayal.
Now many are trying to blame the current situation on the mistakes of the authorities, who supposedly made the wrong bet. But for goodness sake, if even the West is not embarrassed to speak about its true intentions in the language of frank and gangster gestures that do not require double interpretation, then what does the personality of Yanukovych have to do with it (who, of course, is not such a stylish darling as a poisoned freak)? the loudest of all Political strategist B. from the “Russian part” of Yu.’s headquarters shouts that the experts around Vladimir Putin made a mistake in choosing a contender for the Ukrainian throne: “In no case should one have relied on Yanukovych, there were five or six politicians in Ukraine ", who could defeat Yushchenko cleanly and honestly. Today we can state the existence of a revolutionary situation, the management of this situation can only be dictated by the logic of the revolution." When we are called from within Russia to capitulate, this is treason, an outright betrayal of a double-dealer. And unfortunately, we have too many of them.
Before our eyes, the Ukrainian people are openly raped. And all this supposedly for the sake of the triumph of democracy - democracy, which leads to mutual hatred, regularly fueled by endless election procedures. Schism, hostility, blood and tears - is this the destiny of freedom?
Russia cannot oppose anything to all this madness and sabbath, except attempts to preserve the integrity of state life, which has been spat upon by the Russian authorities. And the government time after time fails to become a source of mobilization impulse that would encourage people to defend their sovereignty - the way those who are breaking it today in Kiev - and tomorrow will break it in Moscow - do. Yes, this is the weakness of power - but it is still our power; the same one that comes, no matter how strong, so alien.
