During the week, which followed the New Year holidays, there was a whole series of accidents with Russian tourists who went on vacation for both Russian and foreign resorts. The Russians became victims of natural phenomena, unscrupulous organizers or their own irresponsibility.

The last tragic incident occurred in the mountains of Georgia on January 10, not far from the Church of the Holy Trinity in Gergeti. As it became known, on Thursday morning, during the descent from the top of Mkinarrari, three Russian climbers died. Initially, it was reported that tourists came to Georgia from Moscow, but later it turned out that the climbers were from Rostov.

Snow avalanche

The cause of the death of the Russians was the gathering of a snow avalanche in the Kazbegi area. Representatives of the Kazbegi district administration claim that climbers went on a trip on the morning of January 2 and were in the mountains for the last week, setting up the camp. Only the 19-year-old Maxim Stepanov, who is currently in the Georgian hospitals E , managed to escape, reports Life News . The young man said that he was resting in Georgia with his father, brother and friend of the family.

“We got lost during the descent, confused the direction and fell under the avalanche. How this happened, now I can not even remember. I was found by employees of the local weather station, who returned after the shift, ”said the rescued.

Another tragedy in the mountains occurred with Russian tourists in Italian Alps almost a week ago. On January 4, a snowmobile with a trailer, transporting eight people, fell from a height of about 100 meters. As a result, six-17-year-old Denis Kravchenko, his 47-year-old mother Irina Kravchenko, 54-year-old Vyacheslav Sleptsov, 24-year-old Julia Yudina with her mother Lyudmila, as well as the control of the highland hotel Rafila Pshenichnaya, were killed.

The husband managed to survive as a result of an accident, the husband Azatu Agafarov, who was ruled by a scooter, and one of the tourists Boris Yudin, who was sitting right behind the driver. As it became known, they were the first to fly out of the sled to the snow. Subsequently, Italian media reported that alcohol was found in the blood.

The 47-year- old Yudin received multiple fractures, but in general, his condition does not cause much anxiety. However, when he found out about the death of his wife and daughter, doctors were forced to inject soothing drugs. His son, 17-year-old Vyacheslav Yudin, also survived happily, who did not take part in a night walk on the snowmobile: last Friday in the evening he decided to stay in the hotel.

All dead tourists came to rest in Italy from the Krasnodar Territory. Vyacheslav Yudin returned home, to the village of Severskaya, the very next day after the tragic case. As the young man “ Komsomolskaya Pravda ” said, his family began to travel often after Lyudmila Yudina suffered lung cancer, and they especially love the mountains. According to Yudin, he refused to go to ride a snowmobile, as he was very tired, and went to the hotel to sleep. The valet woke up the young man who said that his father was in the hospital and he needed to go to identify his mother and sister.

As for Azat Yagafarov, he can be accused of unconditional murder. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the tragedy occurred due to the negligence of the snowmobile driver. At the same time, Vyacheslav Yudin claims that neither Yagafarov nor his father were drunk. “When I found out that Azat could answer for everything that happened, I was in shock. Earlier, on January 3, the 27-year-old Russian Denis Burakov became a victim of unscrupulous organizers of the "Zorb" attraction in Dombay. Burakov, along with friends, came to Karachay-Cherkessia from Pyatigorsk. Tourists climbed the cable car from the village of Dombai to the top of Mount Moussa-Achitaro, where they decided to ride on Zorbe-to climb into a transparent ball and go down from the mountain.

When the men were already inside the ball, he suddenly got off the rut and collapsed into Gonachhir's gorge in a kilometer depth. Denis Burakov and his 33-year-old friend Vladimir Shcherbov flew in a free fall of about 800 meters. The instructors tried to stop the ball rolled from the mountain, but its size and weight did not allow them to do this. As a result, Burakov died, and Shcherbov with serious injuries was hospitalized.

Investigators managed to detain and interrogate the two owners of the attraction. As it turned out, they provided services to tourists without a license and did not comply with the elementary safety rules. Subsequently, it became known that the attraction was installed an hour before the incident and the injured tourists from Pyatigorsk were the first to go down the slope on it.

After the death of Burakov, the prosecutor’s office began the audit, designed to eliminate illegal illegal lines working on the ski slopes of the Dombai resort. Official representatives of law enforcement agencies do not name the exact figures, but according to the source in the Karachaevsk administration, their number ranges from 50 to 100 depending on the season, Izvestia reports.

The same hospital with a difference of several hours entered two more fans to ride a sled on hills intended for skiers and snowboarders: 21-year-old Anna Rokhlin with a fracture of the lumbar spine and 18-year-old Anastasia Dankina with a concussion. The next victim, 25 -year -old Svetlana Zhukova, received a fracture of her hand, and her friend Natalya - minor injuries.

According to experts, in all cases, emergency are somehow related to the lack of training or violation of safety precautions.
