Earlier it became known that the Central Election Commission intends to conclude an agreement with the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation to expand the circle of observers in the presidential election. The document contains several points, but one of them concerns just the election observation. According to paper, OP will take part of the work related to the training of members of election commission and observers. At the same time, it is planned to attract civilian activists, since the social activists do not have their strengths.

At the same time, some experts considered that the Public Chamber could not cope with the obligation to teach observers assigned to it, which will ultimately lead to the formalization of the institute of those who monitor the progress of the elections.

Earlier, Ella Pamfilova said that the elections of the President of Russia should go as transparent as possible, “with the highest confidence in them from citizens”, since only under such a condition will this allow “strengthen the country”, TASS recalls.

The presidential election will be held in March 2018. So far, the election campaign has not begun, according to some reports, it officially starts in the period from December 7 to 17. The current head of state Vladimir Putin has not yet declared his desire to go for another term.
