TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak will nominate his candidacy for the post of Russian President from the Civil Initiative party. This will simplify the registration procedure in the CEC. The decision that it was Sobchak to represent the party in the presidential race that was made at the Congress of the Civil Initiative, which the journalist entered on December 23. The event was held at the Azimut-Otert in Moscow.
According to RBC , it was attended by 103 delegates. The chairman of the party Andrei Nechaev recommended vote for Sobchak. It is interesting that 96 people from the audience voted for it - one of those who did not sign it for Sobchak was a delegate from the Belgorod region, who was indignant at the fact that the TV presenter’s program was distributed to the congress participants only during the meeting. She retorted that it was "some kind of technical mistake."
“It turns out some kind of cat in a bag, we are asked to vote for what we have not seen,” quotes the voted against the BBC .
On the website of Ksenia Sobchak, the candidate’s election platform was also published today. The author calls it "123 difficult steps."
“Russia is a European country. We geographically, historically and culturally are part of Europe. And we have no other way except European. For us, there is no and cannot be any other values, except for ours - pan -European ones, ” the Sobchak website says.
Sobchak and those who helped to draw up a program are appealing to ensure that human rights and freedoms be put at the forefront. In particular, the right to education, the right of gays and lesbians to equal rights (it is logical that it was at this point that many state State Unities focused on this point, telling about the Sobchak program), the right to an honest court, and so on. In addition, the candidate advocates reducing the costs of defense, police and officials, which will save the budget of 1.5 trillion rubles and will help raise pensions to a level of at least 40% of the average wage. In addition, Ksenia Sobchak proposes to disperse power in the regions, and not consolidate it in the hands of one person - that is, the president.
For all the revolutionary proposals, the program is compiled quite vaguely.
“Although Sobchak declares the transition to the parliamentary republic with expanded federalization, such a significant change in the constitution requires concrete explanations,” writes Mikhail Zelensky for Medusa .
The program was criticized by oppositionist Alexei Navalny, the nomination of which, as they say, on the Sobchak against all, the host hoped to the last.
"It's clear. Two main points in the Sobchak program (the rest are just to distract attention): 1. There is no lustration. 2. Safety guarantees and immunity not only to Putin, but also to Medvedev, Volodin, Surkov, Kirienko ... and everyone else, ”the politician wrote in his telegram .
Political scientists note that Sobchak miscalculated, stating in his program as many as 123 steps that will need to be done to achieve the tasks she set.
“The mistake is that, calling the program“ 123 difficult steps ”, Sobchak makes it quite incomprehensible to the voter. The PR law is to do everything simple. For example, "5 steps to ..." or "10 steps to ...". Such names could be interpreted as successful. But 123 steps - too much so that even an ordinary liberal voter feels that he is interested in studying and reading everything, ”said Alexei Chesnakov, director of the center of political conjuncture close to the Kremlin.
On the Sobchak against all, it is reported that more than 100 thousand signatures have already been collected for it. This is enough to register the party candidate in the CEC, but the collection continues.
Recall that the elections of the President of Russia will be held on March 18, 2018. Currently, the documents in the CEC have already been submitted by the head of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky and the co -founder of Yabloko Grigory Yavlinsky. In addition to Sobchak, the program was previously presented by the current head of state Vladimir Putin. In addition, on the eve of Russia, several parties were held at once. United Russia decided to support Vladimir Putin, and the Communist Party put forward Pavel Grudinin.
