Since the beginning of the year, prices for new cars have significantly rose in Russia by 2-6%. The reason for growth is called an increase in utilization fee, but Russian -made cars also went up in price, which these fees are compensated for. This is only the beginning of a large review of the price lists, writes Kommersant.

In particular, Subaru cars rose by 3-6%. Mercedes-Benz models increased in price by 3.5%, BMW-by 1.5–4%. Prices rose on Renault. As a result of the analysis of the prices for new cars presented in the Russian market, the analysts “Price Auto” recorded that all the configurations of the models Arkana, Kaptur, Logan (including STEPWAY), SANDERO (including Stepway), as well as some configurations of DUSTER crossovers by 19 - 77 thousand rubles. According to experts, such an increase in prices is justified by the appearance of 2020 veils of cars in 2020. At the same time, they note that in January and February, buyers can have time to buy a car at the old price, and the revision of the cost has not yet been completed. In particular, local manufacturers have not yet calculated losses from the new Rules for compensation for utilsbor.

The fact that the increase in the rate will become one of the factors in the increase in the cost of cars in 2020 was already warned by car dealers in October. After the information about the fact that the Ministry of Industry and Trade offers to raise utilSbor, the Russian Automobile Deilers Association sent a letter addressed to President Vladimir Putin, in which they warned that this decision could negatively affect the car market. In addition to rising prices for the car itself, the growth of utilsbor can make some auto -brands unprofitable on sale. And this can lead to the closure of 200-300 dealerships and the dismissal of 20 thousand people, the car dealers claimed. After that, the Ministry of Industry and Trade thought about the rejection of a significant increase in utilsbor next year and its transfer to 2021, but it still took place.

The government considers an increase in utilization fee as a compensating measure after reducing customs duties on imported cars. But Russian -made cars, the utilization fee for which is compensated through production, also added in price. For example, the cost of Lada Vesta has increased by 15 thousand rubles, and Lada Granta will now cost 11 thousand more.

The recycling fee was introduced seven years ago - first for the manufacturers who import cars, but then it was distributed to those who collect cars in Russia.
