Museums of the Republic of Ingushetia, the State Museum of Fine Arts of Ingushetia is one of the largest museums of the republic. This year he turns 14 years old. The beginning of the Museum Assembly was launched by works transferred by the Sunzhenskaya administration from the art gallery of the district house of culture, as well as graphic parabots donated Museum and Exhibition Center "Rosiso". Gradually, its funds were replenished with works of Ingush, Chechen and Russian artists, as well as masters of decorative and applied art - these are picturesque canvases, sculptures, old silver jewelry. Giving freely or involuntarily the preference of modern art, from the first steps of our activities we stubbornly monitor and acquire as far as the best that appears in the modern art market. The current collection of works of the State Museum of Fine Arts has more than 400 storage units and is divided into several sections - painting, graphics, DPI (decorative and applied art) and sculpture. The museum pays special attention to research activity, in particular, a deep and comprehensive study of the heritage of the first Ingush artists, as well as modern masters of the republic. As a result of this work, catalogs were released, booklets to the main exhibitions held in the walls of the museum, articles on the work of famous painters were written and published, the first short biographical reference book “The Artists of Ingushetia” was released. The exhibition work was and remains a priority in the scientific and educational activities of the museum. Over the entire period of its existence, more than 300 mobile and stationary exhibitions were held, dedicated to the work of Ingush painters and amateur folk masters. Modern expositions created by the museum team have a high professional level. Thanks to the active activity of the museum employees, exit exhibitions are widespread. They took place in cities such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Novorossiysk, Krasnodar. More recently, together with our Chechen colleagues, we held an exhibition in Gudermes, under the nationwide for a significant event - the inauguration of the President of the Chechen Republic of the Kadyrov River. We hope that such exhibitions will become a good tradition and serve as the spiritual rapprochement of the fraternal peoples of Chechnya and Ingushetia. At this exhibition, the art of such famous artists as Sh. Shamurzaev, V. Umarsultanov, A. Polonkoev, Z. Polonkoev, B. Kartoev and M. Polonkoev was widely represented. The name of the Honored Artist of Russia - the artist Murat Polonkovo ​​is known not only in our republic. A fairly wide audience in the country and abroad knows him. The artist of exceptional talent, who managed to achieve heights in various genres: painting, decorative and applied art, sculpture, mosaic, architecture, he is endowed with great creative potential and tremendous performance. And this rare gift was inherited by his sons - Adam, Zelimkhan and Ibrahim, who chose a difficult profession of the artist after his father. M. Polonkoev gives a special preference to painting - this is the most secret side of its expression. At the beginning of his creative path, he showed himself a subtle landscape painter, his perception of the marvelous nature of the Caucasus is truly unique. The landscapes created by it are imbued with deep lyricism, are peculiar in color scheme and made in elegant artistic technique. It is enough to recall such works as “Axigal”, “The village of Lyazhgi”, “Barkinhoev’s Tower”, where the charm of mountainous nature, the purity and transparency of its colors are so harmoniously merged with the artist’s spiritual mood. The main thing for him is the language of painting to express his understanding of the surrounding world and the place defined in it. Two large -scale works of M. Polonkoev, performed in Ingushetia are noteworthy: the design of the grave of Idris Bazorkin and the project of the memorial to the victims of political repression. The works are stored in the State Museum of Fine Arts of Ingushetia, in the memorial complex to the victims of the repression of the RI, museums of the Russian Federation, in private collections in Russia, abroad, as well as in the Ingush State Museum of Local Generation. Museum of Local Lore named after T. Malsagova is one of the largest cultural centers of our republic, which has been functioning for 35 years. A great merit in its creation belongs to T.Kh. Malsagov - a person infinitely devoted to the museum affair, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, who was collected bit by bit and exhibits for the first expositions. In 1993, paying tribute to the memory of this wonderful person, the museum was given his name. Currently, the collections of the museum are replenished with rich material from the field of history and culture of our region. Its funds have 21 thousand storage units: documents, archaeological exhibits. Wide research and educational activities are carried out. The museum operates several exhibition halls with a different thematic orientation: the archaeology hall, which presents the archaeological attractions found in our republic, the Ethnography Hall, demonstrating the features of the life and culture of our people, the Hall of Military Glory, which is widely represented by the main milestones of the civil and Great Patriotic Wars. Research work is the most important aspect of the activities of the Museum of Local Listenia. Its tasks include identifying, studying and preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the Ingush people. For this purpose, materials are selected, their analysis and systematization are carried out. Museum -studies are carried out, designed to replenish and put into practice new knowledge in the field of methodology, collect, storage and use of museum objects. Over the years of its existence, a friendly team has developed in the museum. It is a little, but it is distinguished by high professionalism, coherence in work and complete understanding.
