Exam in Russian

On May 29, at ten in the morning, contrary to the desperate perennial protests against a single state exam, all Moscow schoolchildren will first pass the exam in the Russian language. Without going into what the exam is good, and what is bad, how reliable this method of testing knowledge ( corruption in the USE "Russian Journal" wrote not so long ago), I just want to give several practical advice to graduates.

Without a passport on the exam will not be allowed

To the exam (and graduates will write it not in their schools, but in special points created in all districts of the capital), students need to arrive no later than 30 minutes before it. And it will last only 3 hours (180 minutes).

Fortunately, the time allocated for preparatory measures (conducting the briefing of participants in the exam, opening special packages, filling out forms) is not included here. Parents, do not forget to remind the children: in the exam they will need a passport and a black gel pen (better - two)!

After the tests, the answers should be seized in marketed special packages, which will be delivered to the regional information processing center. They will be scanned there, after which they will be transferred to verify subject commissions. They include specially trained experts - teachers of schools and universities. After checking, protocols with final marks will be delivered to the Federal Center for Processing of the Results. Children learn about the results of the exam in their schools three to five days after the exam.

Examination works are evaluated by points (according to the stobal system) and marks (on five -point). The scales of the points transfer to the marks, which are needed to put up in the certificate, is established by the Federal Service for Supervision of Education.

How and when to appeal

If the graduate notices that the examination procedure is violated, he can appeal only on the day of the exam. Moreover, directly at the point of its holding.

If he does not agree with the markings , the appeal must be submitted within three days, starting from the next day after the official announcement of the marks. It is required to consider it within two to three days after the application is submitted.

The appeal of disagreement with the points exhibited is submitted either to the commission or the head of the educational institution in which the graduate got acquainted with the results of the exam. The head of the educational institution must immediately transfer its text to the commission by telephone message, by fax or e-mail, and then immediately organize delivery to the original commission.

The appeal, as a rule, is considered no later than three days after its submission.

It is important to remember: the graduate has the right to be present when considering an appeal. In addition, if the teenager is not 18 years old, he may be one of his parents (or legal representatives) with him.

Parents must have documents certifying their identity, the graduate must also present his pass For the exam with the seal "Blanks passed" and/or examination sheet confirming the passage by the graduate (incoming) of the exam, by which the appeal was submitted.

The chairman and members of the commission are not entitled to ban the graduate and his legal representative to be present when considering an appeal!

If there are controversial questions on evaluating answers to tasks in free form ("C"), the commission looks at how the graduate's answers correspond to the criteria by which the answers were checked to these tasks. In this case, members of the subject commission and other experts may be involved in the consideration of appeal.

Evaluation criteria

There are many criteria for evaluating the essay in the Russian language (task "C"). They can be found on the website of the Moscow Institute of Open Education . Among them there are, for example, such: if the examiner correctly formulated one of the problems of the original text and the actual errors associated with understanding and formulating the problem, no, he receives one point. If you commented on the problem and there are no actual errors in the commentary, two points. If he made one mistake in this comment, he is only one point. In one point, the correct understanding and commentary of the author’s position in the text is evaluated.

As for the expression of one’s own opinion , confirmed by at least two arguments based on personal or reader experience, it is estimated at two points. For one argument, one point will be exposed to the graduate.

The speech design of the text, accuracy and expressiveness of speech, literacy are also evaluated.

Malles are also given for "compliance with ethical norms." You can only guess the guesses regarding the interpretation of the verification of this criterion. So, if there are no ethical errors , the graduate will work one point. Compliance with factual accuracy in the background material is evaluated. What is it, we do not know. We hope that this is known to the inspectors.

Ideally, the essay should be from 150 to 300 words. If it has less than 70 words, it does not count.

The certificate this year will be given to everyone

After all the exams, graduates who passed the exam are issued a certificate of secondary education and a certificate of exam results.

Now it is clear that even if he writes the exam on a deuce (and a trial exam in the Russian language has demonstrated that the doubles are dark), a three will go into the certificate. According to the rules, a higher mark is set in it with the difference in the annual assessment and assessment of the exam in one point (which means those who write the exam on a deuce will see a three in the certificate: in the 11th grade, they will not put doubles in the 11th grade). And if the difference between the annual mark and the USE score is more than one score, they will give an assessment obtained as the arithmetic average of the annual mark and the USE score (if the annual mark is the top three, and the EGE rating is equated to the five, then the certificate is exhibited by four).

Well, then the most important thing will begin - an attempt to act with the point received by the exam at the university. After all, the school five will not necessarily correspond to the university. Universities have the right to independently establish a scale for the transfer of points received by arriving when passing the exam to their assessment system. It is known that in leading universities who agreed to the exam, five are almost a hundred points. Comments are superfluous.
