From the editorial office. This week, June 22, a presentation of the new project "Civil Literary Forum" took place in the book cafe "Bilingual". The press conference was attended by writers Yuri Mamleev, Mikhail Tarkovsky, Vera Galaktionova, Zakhar Prilepin, Sergey Shargunov, Roman Senchin, Lidia Sycheva; Critics are Vladimir Bondarenko and Kapitolina Kokshenev (forum chairman), as well as the playwright Vladimir Malyagin. What kind of new education is this, for which and for whom it is necessary to create literary in essence, electronic - in the form of the resource, the "Russian magazine" tried to find out from the writer Zakhar Prilepin.

Russian magazine: What is the task of the "Civil Literary Forum"? Spread everything new in electronic format?
Zakhar Prilepin: No, not quite. Look, there is literature written in the province - not provincial Russian literature, but that is exactly what literature written in the province. It, as a rule, does not have access to the reader as such. Nobody knows her. Nobody ever asks writers what they think on one or another reason, they are not sociologists, ideologists or historians. And this site and generally the forum are created so that Russian people who are outside the limits of the garden ring, even more so 300 km from it, could somehow express their point of view.
RG: That is, is it an invitation to writers to participate in civilian life and politics at least in some form?
ZP: This is not an invitation, because they always want to participate in this, but no one asks them. Unfortunately, Russian life (without quotes) is always arranged so that no one asks anyone. There are only two, three-four media figures, and it seems that all life stems around them. Unfortunately, I myself belong to such figures, but I can’t answer for all of Russia. It is ridiculous to have speaking heads throughout Russia, because the Russian Federation is huge and exorbitant, so it makes sense to interview everyone, at least those who write good, high -quality, even brilliant texts in Russian, you need to talk with them.
RG: They, these texts, not only do they rarely reach the reader’s mind, but in the media space they do not reach anyone at all. And this is a pity, because they, “non -human” writers, have a lot of thoughts on the arrangement of Russia, right?
ZP: There are almost no thoughts on the arrangement of Russia. They speak, as a rule, about something else. In them, I apologize for the vulgarity, the metaphysical context of our being. They live normal earthen life, they are in direct contact with the soil, which we have never had in the capitals. Here Misha Tarkovsky, for example. Lives on a borrow, in Siberia, on the Yenisei. Cathes fish, hunts for animals.
RZh: Misha Tarkovsky walks through the forest, he knows everything, he has what to tell us?
ZP: There are many such writers among Russian people, they observe those very people whom we have not seen here for a long time. You see, there is no Russian person in literature for a long time: a Russian hunter, a man, a Russian village whore, a Russian righteous, there is no one at all. We live here in Moscow, but we don’t know Russia for a long time.
RZh: But Yuri Mamleev, living in Paris and Peredelkino, still about the metaphysics of Russia has already said a lot.
ZP: Here is Mamleev - yes, it can say a lot, but I'm not talking about that. Mamleev is in its place, but there are still many places where the draft, and there people should be, should speak. In these places in Russia there were Prishvin, and Shishkin, and Chaplygin, and Koltsov-people who could broadcast all kinds of interpretations, earthen voices throughout Russia. And today these places are empty, as if disappeared from space. Russia is not talking, it is now dumb. As a result, I am forced to answer for Russia, despite my very indirect attitude towards it. I only lived in the village until 16 years old.
RG: But all this blogosphere, after all, are millions communicate there?
ZP: These are all city boys, they are not always intellectuals, but always ambitious and stupid enough - young men who express their opinion on any reason. As a rule, they know nothing. They have never really worked in their lives and are not going to work. Blogosphere is such a haven of people who are lazy and not curious, but have their own opinion about everything. Bunin once asked the literary critic: “ How, and do you have your own opinion? ". Of course, the blogosphere also has thinking, reflexive people, but they all live in Moscow, St. Petersburg and in two or three cities, sit in their computer six hours a day and write, unfortunately, mostly goodwood about their life.
RG: Will the writers from the hinterland improve all this?
ZP: They will begin to speak in the country's voice, which is outside the borders of everything - the garden ring, LJ, Odnoklassniki.ru, Spidinfo, since they, writers of “Earth and Forests”, do not understand what it is. They live somewhere there separately and at the same time know how to write in real Russian. It’s time for them to give the right to a word. I seem to live in Nizhny, but still I live in Moscow, Lesha Ivanov lives in Perm, but still in Moscow. We are all “large writers”, in fact living in Moscow, we have been talking for a long time only with Muscovites, and we do not know writers from other places.
RG: Will the voice come to a nutryna, talented hinterland to the back of the hinterland, if all literature on sites is read only in Moscow and five cities?
ZP: It will reach the hinterland, only there you need to get there at least once in your life. There is a web there too: at least minimal contacts are needed. In this matter, the larger the web, the better, in the sense only as it was in the life of Chekhov. For the sake of earthen Russia, he killed his life when he went to Kamchatka and earned all possible diseases, but handed this thread through the whole country. In this sense, these threads and a web are needed. These threads need to be stretched anywhere, otherwise we will not endure our entire territory. But there is our main land, not here. When you read Mikhail Tarkovsky, you understand that the fate of any person is worthy of a novel, there are tragedies, such miracles, such a boil of life, that you need to get a desperate to this.
RG: Long live a real Russian web?
ZP: We will still reach.
RG: Do we not reach France, for example?
ZP: In this sense, she is better than America, that's for sure. France is a country where one of the favorite dishes is bad news from Russia. When you come to France, to the question - well, how do you have it, you need to answer - about how we are bad, how we suffer from the postchen syndrome, we broke up, we are insignificant. In Russia, the book market is like this: forty percent of the literature of foreign and sixty domestic, in France the same thing, and in America one percent of foreign and ninety -nine of its own. Therefore, they do not know anything about other nations, for them, that Russia, that Venezuela, that China, all this prevents them from rapidly rushing somewhere. The French are the conservatives, like us. They still have such words - Stalinist, fascist, they operate with the same concepts that Inasha is Novodvorskaya. France is close to us in the "childhood" of its worldview . America has long been a drum. So okay, you can include France in the Russian literary web.
