The study of psychology and its various directions allows a person to better understand himself and the people around him. Practical psychology is a branch of science that studies ways and means of influencing people, which make it possible to satisfy the practical needs of representatives of a wide range of human society.
It can safely include part of the practical and theoretical knowledge of psychotherapy and psychometry. Much of practical psychology is psychotherapeutic work. The development of science was significantly influenced by the schools of psychoanalysis, behaviorism, cognitive psychology and humanistic psychology. There is not enough practical psychology for the progressive development of the ability to test all of one’s assumptions and methods, use them in practice and, based on the results, draw conclusions about the effectiveness of a particular method. Many people are interested in psychology these days, many study it and write works in this area. But still, there are still enough gaps in this science that should be filled by the future generation of scientists. Perhaps this is why it attracts many curious people, in particular researchers. Since not everything in this science is yet known and open to man, one can still make a contribution to its development.
