What are we for?
The mission of the Greenhouses of Social Technologies is to develop a culture of creating civic online applications. We connect civil activists and IT specialists. For some, we talk about how to create online applications. Secondly, we explain what social problems can be solved with the help of information technology. We believe that both techies and social activists can help each other, they just don’t know how. Our task is to introduce them.

What we strive for
- Building bridges, developing dialogue and building partnerships between programmers and civil activists;
- Creating innovative network applications for civic participation and solving public problems;
- Improving the quality of services provided by non-profit organizations.
Activity
The points
- Conducting a wide range of educational events for IT experts and socially active citizens in order to identify those public problems that could best be solved with the help of new technologies;
- Conducting information campaigns highlighting the development of civil web applications in Russia and in the world;
- Training employees of non-profit organizations and representatives of initiative groups in new technologies;
- Development of dialogue between civil activists and IT specialists.
