As you know, an anagram is a word formed by rearranging the letters of another word, for example, decoction - vomit - author - brand . Anaphrases are lexical anagrams. In them, the unit of permutation is not letters in words, but words in phrases and sentences. Read the article .The sergeant grabbed the Kalashnikov assault rifle and pointed it at the blue
stomach and began to shoot with pleasure into the crowdthe crowd rested the machine gun and grabbed the Kalashnikov -
sergeant and began to shoot with pleasure in the blue bellyKalashnikov - the machine gun became a pleasure
shoot into the crowd... at the sergeant... in the stomach... in the blue
Until now, we in “The Gift” have discussed new words and grammatical models, but we are introducing punctuation for the first time. Modern punctuation uses ten characters: period, comma, dash, colon, semicolon, question mark, exclamation point, quotation mark, parenthesis, ellipsis. The question arises: if three dots form an independent sign, then can’t three commas also form an independent sign, which, by analogy with the “ellipsis,” is appropriate to call “ multi-five ”? The comma is used when listing. Three commas - plurality - indicate the multiplicity of listed phenomena (signs, actions), which is implied, but cannot be exhausted by any list.
,,, ( multi-five ) - a punctuation mark in the form of three commas, which serves to indicate items missed during the enumeration, indicates the incompleteness or incompleteness of the enumeration series.
I suffer, I persuade, I prove , and you don’t say a word in response!
Historians, philologists, anthropologists, biologists, mathematicians came to the conference , but no one understands what interdisciplinarity is and how to practically implement it.In all of these examples, polyfive is more appropriate than ellipsis. The ellipsis means some kind of reticence, an inexpressible meaning behind the words. And multi-five means many elements of the enumeration, omitted for brevity, for speed. The ellipsis is significant, and the polygon is multi-subjective. It points to a number of phenomena that were omitted from the review for the sake of honest evidence of its incompleteness. Polyphony signals the dotted method of description, the invisible, innumerable “ands” that permeate the text. ,,, acts as a replacement for another, more cumbersome compound sign - a repeating connecting conjunction: “and... and... and...” “And I suffer..., and I persuade..., and I prove... , and...” This stuttering would be awkward, and the ellipsis deceptively refers to some depth that is not implied by the multi-dot.There was a whole box of greeting cards, recipes, receipts , and there was nowhere to store it, and it was a pity to throw it away: traces of a great era.
In many cases, the sign ,,, suggests itself in those literary works that so far do without it. For example, in Mikhail Shishkin's novel The Taking of Ishmael, in the epilogue, the hero-narrator collects a comprehensive collection of impressions about life, as well as future stories about it. It includes all the most scary and funny, the most important and trivial:
"...the collection is slowly growing. Mom's bra with a foam rubber deception,,, The heavy whistle of stubble on the asphalt,,, Silk money swallowed from below,,, And now there was a blue shaggy smoke on strawberries,,, And a piercing, infused wind on rotting chips,,,"In the original, all these sentences are separated by dots, but it seems that multi-five could more accurately convey the rhythmic structure of this passage, its enumerative “choke”: “and again, and again...”
In the following two examples, multi-five appears where the authors use a comma.
Leonid Borodin, "Woman at Sea":
“Continuing to think in this way, I am ready to become an objective idealist, a subjective idealist, a Hegelian, a Berkeleyan, the very last socialist ,,, even if they call me even worse and more incomprehensible (...)!”Lyudmila Petrushevskaya, “Your Circle”:
“Everything was somehow mixed up in my memory due to the latest events in my life, namely due to the fact that I began to go blind. Ten years passed in these Fridays, or fifteen, Czech, Polish,And Pushkin also has a lot of such internally extensible enumerations, allowing for potential infinity:
Chinese, Romanian or Yugoslav events , such and such processes took place,
then trials of those who protested in connection with the results of the first
trials, then trials of those who collected money for the benefit of families
sitting in the camps , - all this flew by."

Drumming, clicks, grinding,
The thunder of guns, stomping, neighing, groaning,,,
And death and hell on all sides.
Be polite to all, sociable to many, friend to few, friend to one, enemy to none.

sensation , sensation - one or the other who lives only or mainly by sensations.
Sensation is the tendency to live and perceive the world only or predominantly through sensations.
She has a purely emotional approach to life. But there are some rules, goals, means, and not just what you like here and now. It's good to be a sensation at 17, but not at 30.I expected a thoughtful, evidence-based response from him, but he responded emotionally to the book. If you want to be a critic, you won't get far on sensation alone .
You can’t be such a sensation , the world consists not only of smooth, warm, fluffy things. And you, it seems, have only nostrils and skin.

network project Mikhail Epstein's "The Gift of Words" has been published since April 2000. Every week, subscribers are sent several new words, with definitions and examples of use. These words are not in any dictionary, and yet they denote significant phenomena and concepts for which there has not yet been a place in the language and public consciousness. "Dar" also conducts discussions about the Russian language, discusses letters and suggestions from readers. “The Gift” can serve as a guide to word creation, an introduction to the world of linguistic fantasies and mental technologies. “The word controls the brain, the brain controls the hands, hands control the kingdoms” (Velimir Khlebnikov).
