Quote:
“You cannot freeze the Russian language, prevent the overdue transformations in the system of verbs, and above all the growth of transitivity. Transitivity and intransitivity should be understood functionally , not substantially: not as grammatical features of different words, but as different functions, ways of using the same word The verbs “walk”, “fly”, “fall”, “live”, “die”, “become”, “disappear” can be used transitively and intransitively, depending on the context... If transitivity entered the consciousness of all linguistic community as a variable function of any verb, then in one or two generations we might have a different society. A society that does not endure the existing state of affairs, but knows how to transform every sign of a state into a sign of action."
This month marks the 171st anniversary of the appearance in the Russian language of the word “intelligentsia” in its modern meaning (an educated part of society; representatives of mental labor; people living with ideas and mental quests). Previously, the Latin word intellegentia was used in European languages to mean “mental ability,” “power of understanding.” For a long time it was believed that this word was introduced into the Russian language by the writer P. Boborykin in the mid-1860s. and that in this new meaning it came from Polish. But not so long ago it became clear that much earlier the word “intelligentsia” was used by V. A. Zhukovsky - in his diary entry dated February 2, 1836: “Three hours after this general disaster... the magnificent Engelhardt house was illuminated, and carriages pulled out, all filled with the best St. Petersburg nobility, those who in our country represent the entire Russian European intelligentsia." [1]
There is a custom to celebrate anniversaries of great works: “the centenary of L. Tolstoy’s novel”, “one hundred and fifty years of Pushkin’s poem”. But some words make no less a contribution to the spiritual development of people and humanity than literary masterpieces. What would the Russian intelligentsia be without the word “intelligentsia”? Most likely, something completely different. The word forms its own object, especially an object that forms itself by an act of self-consciousness and self-naming.

disappearance - leaving as if apologizing from awkwardness or absurdity. Or perhaps - simply dissolution in goodness ("The Gift", issue 233).
To disappear into eternity, as if disappearing - such is the lot of the lofty souls of romantic literature. Isn’t that what Luzhin did in Nabokov’s novel? Is his disappearance a personal or otherworldly quality?

Aphorism
"In every language we encounter examples of variability and constant
introducing new words. But since there are limits to memory, individual words, like entire languages, gradually disappear... The survival or preservation of some favored words in the struggle for existence is natural selection.”

anyOr (roots love + mor) - the double instinct of love and death, the unity of eros and thanatos; the deity of love-death in Slavic mythology, whose mysterious image subsequently inspired many writers and cultural figures.
Lyubomor is the rarest oxymoron word in the Russian language, combining the basics with the opposite meaning of “love” and “death”. Typically, oxymorons are expressed by a combination of words, for example, “white crow”, “living corpse”, “light sadness”, “virtual reality”. Examples of oxymoron words: “cold-blooded”, “pull-push”, “ sunny ”, “ dead-liver” ".
In the Serbian language, the words “lyubomora” (feminine) and “lyubomorstvo” (wed.), formed from the same basics “to love” and “morit” (to kill), mean jealousy, envy of a rival. Jealousy is, indeed, a two-faced Janus, one face turned to love, the other to death.
No, Dante was mistaken, it is not love that moves the sun and luminaries, but love of the sea . Foul, ferocious, but it is. If there was only love, all the luminaries would be attracted to each other, stuck together into a single lump, and jealousy either brings them together or pushes them away, alternating between love and enmity. Lyubomor is the name of the great zealot, Creator and Ruler of the universe.AnyOrye - the kingdom of Lubomor ; a place, a country where love and death are inseparable from each other.
We all grew up with the fabulous Lukomorye in our dreams - but it turned into a Lukomorye , where people, out of love for humanity, destroyed each other._________________________________________________________________
