This fall and winter, the New Evrope organizes television; for direct dialogue with European politicians, cultural figures and intellectuals, protruding for peace and freedom for Russians. Each of our reader will be able to ask his question to Europeans and get a direct answer.

Our second teleconference with the editor-in-chief of the “Vygrocha newspaper”, one of the creators of the Polish movement “Solidarity” and the founding father of modern free Poland Adam Mikhnik will take place on Friday, November 10, from 17:00 to 18:00 (in Moscow). In the first half of the meeting, the moderator of the discussion of the chief editor of Novo-Europe, Kirill Martynov, will ask questions that our readers sent to him in advance. We will discuss what lessons from the successful experience of Polish democratization can be extracted by the modern Russian opposition, how future free Russia can achieve understanding and trust with the countries of Eastern Europe and whether fatigue from Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees really accumulated, which Russian propaganda constantly repeats.

The second half of the meeting will be built around the questions that the spectators of the broadcast will send us to the chat. Adam Mikhnik

Polish historian, editor -in -chief of the "newspapers"

Adam Mikhnik fought for the independence of Poland, along with the movement "Solidarity" and Lech Valensa. In 1989, he participated in a round table between the communist government of Poland and a democratic opposition - this began the path to the Free Polish Republic. After the collapse of the Soviet bloc, Mikhnik became one of the most authoritative journalists in Europe, he was a lot and often in Russia and published a book in collaboration with Navalny.

Mikhnik loves to repeat that he knows two Russia: the country of those who persecute freedom, like Putin, but also the country of those who are fighting with dictatorship, like Sakharov or Muratov. All his life he is sure that free Russia will defeat its executioners - as happened in Poland.
