Why do we have such a braked people!? Not all of course.
I have a thought for three years - why not make one -time excursions in the Arkhangelsk cemeteries. In Arkhangelsk there are interesting cemeteries, where I am walking in the summer, it is interesting, informative. From an early age, I was still interested in the history of Arkhangelsk, so when I go there, I see a lot of names I knew: Leicinger, Pakhtusov, Pisakhov, Kartsov (Vice Admiral of the Russian Fleet), Pashayev, Gemp, Merchant Brandt, Antikaynen, Shergin, Mick and many other families, most likely familiar to the Archaningelogorods.
Although I often think - they are unlikely to be familiar. We have such a people who have not been interested in anything, neither history, nor people who made history. And I, judging by the look, is considered crazy for such an idea))))))
What do you think!? It's interesting! Take a walk around the cemetery, see the condition where these people have found peace, you can learn a lot, I always go with a notebook, write down the initials and dates, so that later it would be at home on the Internet, what kind of people they are.
There is a wonderful site of the Arkhangelsk necropolis dedicated to the burials of famous and not very famous, but simply bright people of Arkhangelsk and the Arkhangelsk region. I think the site will interest not only necropolists and historians, but also ordinary visitors. The purpose of the site is to draw people's attention to the state of the graves of our famous countrymen, to return forgotten names. If Arkhangelogor residents read me, I advise you to see.
By the way, about Pakhtusov Petra, I may soon write an article in LJ. A very interesting person is a legendary navigator.
