How Chubais saved Russia

Pursuing professionally history, you are repeatedly encountered that contemporaries are very incorrect and unfairly assessing the role and significance of any statesman. This is not at all uncommon. But on such a familiar background, the figure of Anatoly Chubais is an exception. Rather, he is a kind of record holder in this. In my opinion, very few have done so much for Russia at the most difficult time for her, and - deserved absolutely negative fame for this. His name was overgrown with myths, became a household name, became a symbol of all the bad, which was brought by perestroika. The townsfolk hate him fiercely (though they often cannot explain it often - for what). As befits all mythical characters - Glory about him passes from generation to generation: young people have not seized the period of the peak of his state activity, but knows exactly from grandmothers and parents that Chubais is the feces of hell and the cause of all troubles.

I understand perfectly that it is useless to deal with myths to fight reasoning and information, because it is a prejudice. You see, I turn to the mind, and this is a prejudice, i.e. He lives in a completely different place of the human body and is not friends and does not intersect with reason. Nevertheless, I write precisely for the young, who may not yet be so bloier and will be able to perceive the new information for them.

The novelty for them will already be that Gaidar carried out reforms for only less than a year: from January 2 to December 1992. And then the reactionary congress of the Soviets set the prime minister of his man - the “strong business executive” of Chernomyrdin. And the reforms were rolled up. Chernomyrdina is hardly called a liberal and a reformer. Experts then together said that the economy and the country are not suffering from reforms, but from inconsistency, from "underdevelopment". The reforms were suspended, deciding to overcome the abyss in two jumps. Of course - failed.

They say that our economy and the country were on the edge of the disaster. By no means. When the Chairman of the Central Bank Gerashchenko began to print money abundantly - from May 1992 and Chernomyrdin stopped the reforms - the disaster has already taken place. I judge this by one very important feature. The life of the economy, like any life is a movement in the form of commodity-money circulation. Money like blood moves along the arteries of the economic organism. And in Russia, money ceased to perform their functions, they depreciated and fell out of circulation. Strictly speaking, the body was thereby bloodless and already died. Agony was extended by Barter. Nobody gave anything for the money. Direct trade was reigned: I am pipe to you - you are a cement to me, I am a cable to you - you are a rental for me. They completely refused money. It was not even in the Middle Ages, but in the era of barbarism and savagery, when humanity has not yet come up with a universal equivalent - money. Multi -way, multi -stage schemes were invented, because often your product was needed by one whose product you did not need. It is clear that it could not continue for so long. The full collapse was to inevitably come. But no one saw any way out. And no one did anything to return the Russian economy to civilization. The government did not know how to get out of this destructive vicious circle. That's it - Russia is over.

And then the chairman of the RAO UES, the head of our energy, Anatoly Chubais, began the sole battle with this terrible polyphonic monster - Barter, who had already finished our economy. It was announced to all consumers of energy that RAO UES would endure barter for only three quarters, i.e. 25% of payments must be made with money. "Che-hey !!! - the economic workers were indignant. - What money?! Where will I get them? We have already forgotten about them! " And they did not pay in monetary terms. And in the mass order: they called up among themselves, rinse the name of Chubais and gloatingly mocked him: what would he do. But…. They ran into the wrong thing. The redhead in stubbornness and perseverance could give any head start. Chubais took up the switch: the fan shutdown of non -payers began. What has begun here !!! Chubais has become an enemy of the number one absolutely all business subjoices. Many seriously thought of ordering it: enterprises stopped, losses grew, factories stood. The government ran into Chubais, but he stubbornly held on to the switch. There were cases of armed capture of substations: there was a small civil war. But - there is nothing to do, Chubais can’t be rejoiced, they began to find money. Now all the counterparties also began to demand 25% of the calculations from each other in monetary form: at the same time, they apologized, "I need to calculate with Chubais - you understand." And the thin stream of money again began to flow through the dry arteries of the economic organism: absolutely everyone needed energy without exception. They just mastered in the new conditions imposed by Chubais-he went further: he demanded 50% of payments to make in cash. The second act of the war of the entire economy against Chubais began, but he held on, mercilessly disconnecting naughty consumers from energy supply sources. In all offices, this name was pronounced only with mats and frantic anger in the voice. Forgetting about God, they called on all sorts of misfortunes on his head. But without electricity, you can’t do anything in our time - they found 50% of the money. Further the reader is already clear: Chubais continued to “impudate”: he demanded 75% of the money, and then all 100%. I am sure that during this period it was the most hated person in the country. But in fact, he alone made the impossible: he revived the money in Russia, restored the commodity and money circulation, saved the economy. This is more than a feat. Will there be at least someone in Russia, comparable to Chubais in the role in saving our economy? Fold dozens of names of business executives on another bowl who made a positive contribution to our national economy - the heavyweight of Chubais will pull them all.

But he was in the position of a surgeon who had a saving operation, but caused the patient to the patient. And the surviving patient curses him for that pain, forgetting that he owes his life.

PS And now I will write a sign for the faint of heart -naive haters of Chubais. When they ask me, and whoever you see instead of Putin by the president, I am silent: I spare the interlocutor’s nerves, he thinks that he asked a very difficult question. It has long been clear to me that it was Anatoly Chubais who would have coped with the role of the President of Russia. This is quite serious, and not just to tease my full -time opponents. Of course, it is unthinkable to be elected in the elections, I understand this. But, fellow countrymen-Russian, fellow citizens are our chance, our historical chance. I really do not see figures in Russia that could fulfill the smallest task: to clear the Avgians of the stables of corruption, to build effective management, to achieve justice, to create a favorable investment climate, to revive the economy, etc. But for some reason the Russians do not want it: he, supposedly, did not give up something during the privatization, and they already had a lips, and they already had a lips, and they had already reached his lips, They scattered about wealth ... everyone wanted to get rich, but it doesn’t happen ...
