
In most constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the official average salary of officials is at least one and a half times higher than the average salary in the region’s economy, while eight of them recorded a double excess, the RIA RIA rating rating together with the Moscow News newspaper says. Two or more times, the salary of an official is higher than usual in eight regions. This is the Volgograd region, the Tula region, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Tuva, the Arkhangelsk Region , the Oryol Region, the Yaroslavl Region and the Khabarovsk Territory.
According to RIA Novosti, the only region where the official receives less than average, has become Moscow on average. Here, the ratio of accrued wages of civilian and municipal employees of the executive authorities to wages as a whole in economics in the region is 0.95.
In other regions, officials earn more than the average resident, on average in Russia their salary exceeds the average level of 1.6 times.
From the study it follows that the gap is from 1.50 to 2.51 (in the Volgograd region) is observed in more than 50 of 82 Russian regions where the study was conducted.
Two or more times, the salary of an official is higher than usual in eight regions. In addition to the Volgograd region, this is the Tula region (2.14) and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (2.11), Tuva (2.05) and the Arkhangelsk region (2.04) , the Oryol region, the Yaroslavl region and the Khabarovsk Territory (2.00 each).
As a positive example, Tatarstan and the Novosibirsk region are noted, where relatively low average salaries of officials (1.21 times and 1.39 times higher than the average in the region) with a relatively high level of quality of life.
