A meeting of the Council of Political Parties under the governor was held in the regional government. During the meeting, the heads of the regional party cities discussed the agreement of the election campaign for the election of deputies of the Arkhangelsk Regional Assembly of Deputies of the sixth convocation and local authorities “For Famous Elections”.

The initiator of the document was the regional public chamber, which suggested that all political forces hold an honest election campaign, without the use of black PR and dirty elected technologies.

“The agreement is aimed at maintaining political and social stability in the region during the election period,” said Pyotr Orlov, chairman of the Public Chamber. “Previous election campaigns revealed a number of negative phenomena that undermine the confidence of voters to the authorities and the state as a whole.”

The agreement indicates several fundamental principles: the priority of the law over political and personal interests, the unacceptability of any form of pressure, the equality of conditions in the informing of voters, the prevention of the “war of compromises” and the discrediting of opponents by spreading obviously inaccurate information and a number of others.

Today, 23 regional branches of political parties have been officially registered in Pomorie. Many of them intend to participate in the upcoming elections.

“Participation in the election campaign is the main task of any political force,” the head of the region emphasized. - But the struggle for power should be held honestly, on the principles of mutual respect and equality of parties. Therefore, the initiative of the Public Chamber of the Arkhangelsk Region deserves the highest rating. ”

According to Igor Orlov, the agreement contains a set of restraining factors, establishes certain “rules of the game” for political rivals. Therefore, many party leaders have positively reacted to this idea. To date, seven heads of regional branches have already signed an agreement, have given their consent as long and will do it in the near future. The leaders of the three parties - the “right business”, “the Republican Party - the Party of People’s Freedom” and the Communist Party - refused to put their signatures under the document.

Some parties are ready to sign a memorandum when making a number of additions. In particular, the leader of the Arkhangelsk fair -Russians, the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Olga Epifanov proposed expanding the list of participants in the agreement, adding there heads of municipalities and media editors. Igor Orlov supported this idea and instructed the legal department to consider the possibility of their inclusion in the list.

However, such initiatives are hardly worth it to take seriously. The topic of honest elections is raised from year to year, and almost all political parties are noticed in the use of black PR.
