The dream is still very far away. But the ice started - in two directions.

If I want to become president, he needs a project. Your project. Let not very real, but powerful.

Introduction to NATO - at least as a plan, as a trend - is a statement of just such a scale and political acuteness. The project is not too original - where are all countries of Eastern Europe, there is Russia.

But at the same time it is on top of a petty political bustle with the next president, etc. - The strategic project of the scale of Peter the Great - if we take into account what historical blockages must be overcome.
This project, ultimately, does not depend on Medvedev, Putin, me, dear readers, how the wind does not depend on the leaves. This is a “geopsychological” project: a shift of tectonic layers on which Russia and the basic structures of its social consciousness lies. You just need to blow up the brain of the nation - after all, unconditional anti -Western reflexes developed years ...

And this shift will happen.

What, Russian society (not resoners like Prokhanov-Kurginyan) have their own, special values ​​that are different from European society?
Exact from personal comfort (including legal, informational, etc.)? What are this? South Ossetian Empire, Belarusian messianism or party community?

There was no such integration, of course, never.
In the most European periods of Russian history (1890-1914), it was integration at the level of the upper 10,000 Russian and 1.000,000 Germans who lived in Russia. It was, by the way, a very serious integration. And now not 10,000, but 10,000,000 Russians are integrated in one way or another, but the remaining 130 million are being pulled to them.

All this, in fact, a small achievement is the self -evident banality of the 21st century.
But for Russian history, this is not a banality at all! As in general XXI is not banal in the history of mankind.

So the really complete integration of the mortal danger of which the Slavophiles, the Bolsheviks, imperialists, nationalists and just good people spoke for so long - was going on.
And irreversible.

Psychologically, Russia was integrated into a “normal life” - in its European sense.
And she is pregnant with the integration of political, military, geopolitical.

Moreover, we are not talking about the next military-political bloc with European states, which were full in the history of Russia.
This is not about “safety problems”, but about much more about integration, structural fusion based on common values ​​and institutions - i.e. European values ​​and institutions long -accepted by Russia. Previously, neither in the era of “Orthodoxy-self-containing”, nor in the era of “communism” there has never happened.

It remains to fix this fact - so to speak, to accept Euroroda.
Which of course is far from easy. For example, everyone knows that the empire or communism has died, but to fix it! You will be fixed by 100 times ...

And the last.

Russia and Europe are doomed to merger mainly because they are more weak than ever.
Their century - both Russia and Europe and their cheerful confrontation - passed. As a rule, only in such conditions there is a merger - when the old enemies no longer have the strength to fight.

In Europe, there is no strength to fight among the former mortal enemies - England and France, France and Germany, Austria and Italy.
They were much greater enemies to each other than each of them (or all together) with Russia.

But - the geopolitical testosterone ended, and there are big problems with a demographic hemoglobin.
And they stopped dog on the slope of their years. And suddenly it turned out that there was nothing to share ...
While the young were, aggressive - they were furious. They crossed themselves - and began to live in a common well -built sanatorium of veterans of the historical scene.

And in the tired, exhausted, bulging tail in front of China (and tomorrow and before Iran) there is no other way out. Only together we can somehow resist.

Because today - not 1917.
And Russia may not turn to Europe its Asian mug, and faces turn to Russia, of which there were no 50 years (even 30) at all.

And why to Europe to drag a Russian suitcase without a pen? There are few worries?

The answer is simple. If Europe wants to increase its political capitalization, and not just be a resort for rich people from Asia, then there is no option except “interweaving with the Russian Federation”. The point is not only in the Russian missile shoulder (although it is not for the EU, but in the general political capitalization of Russia-still a great country on the political map of the world.
