Forged victory together!

On June 22, in the Murmansk Regional Museum of Local Lore, the Sami parliament of the Kola Peninsula - KuelNEGK NeoArc SAM Sobbar (KNSS) held a meeting of fellow countrymen "Sami living room". People and towns of the Murmansk region gathered from the cities and villages of different nationalities to give tribute to the defenders of the Kola Territory.

With a minute of silence, they honored the memory of the events of the recent past, gave them honors for their homeland, thanked the veterans for their exploits.

The meeting was dedicated to the Olen Army, according to the book of the same name by Yu.V. Kaneva, historian and local historian from Naryan-Mar. Valentina Valentina presented to the public not only literature on deer transport detachments, but also prepared a wonderful presentation.

Having plunged into the world of memories of the Great Patriotic War, everyone wanted to talk closer in a family setting. And the table prepared by the organizers with Lovozer pies, the meat of venison, deer broth contributed to the creation of close communication.

Museum workers talked about their photo documents and materials about the deer transport divisions. And they invited them to use them for scientific and research work. The news of the creation of a permanent exhibition about reindeer herders of the Belief of the Arctic was met by applause.

And naturally, the theme of the monument in the city of the hero of Murmansk was a warrior-olive-breeder was affected. The audience noted that in Naryan-Mar there is such a monument. But the reindeer herders on Kola land defended and fought, and there was no monument at the site of the battles. And they decided to draw up a letter to the Government of the Murmansk region, the Murmansk Regional Duma, the governor of the Murmansk region that such a monument was on Kola land and even discussed the place next to Alesha. The point is at architects, sculptors and, of course, for the inhabitants of the Arctic.

The documentary “The Path of the Feat”, shot by the Nenets television and radio company (36 minutes) did not leave indifferent. After watching in the hall there was silence, the silence of rethinking and respect for the great feat of the soldier.

For a long time they could not disperse, the participants talked about their relatives. After all, this war touched each family. And in conclusion, the famous Murmansk artist Gorokhov Vasily Timofeevich read a wonderful poem about those distant and unforgettable days.

Everyone who was present at the event vividly responded to the invitation to visit the next Sami living room on August 24, 2013 in the regional museum of local lore at the same time 14:00, on the topic "Gifts of Nature in the life of the Sami." The topic will reveal the unique capabilities of our northern plants, how they help people survive in the harsh conditions of the Arctic. There will be a tasting of juices, fruit drinks, as well as phyto-chai from northern herbs.
