This poem was written forty years ago. Is something changed?
Excellent washes, smoothly British
And the linen is not carried
Oh, liberals - Sibarites,
My stronghold, my lair!
Oh, how straightforward we were
When they boiled like a boz.
When, buried the mouths in the pillows,
Kramole was delighted with wives.
And, to the best of the bits, they are plenty of fed,
We were so eager for a bloodless battle!
Oh, liberals - favorites
The era of each and any.
All life is a foot of loud phrases,
For them - in the ring, for them - at risk ...
But the adviser to us was repeated,
What is Igar and Norilsk.
And we, hissing, crawled under the shops,
Spitting, nuclear psalms,
Shit on a pink lining -
Heroes, liberals, we!
And again we yearn in Russia
Pasteurized longing,
Oh, liberals - parasites
On the gnome of human troubles.
Julius Daniel, 1972
