Luxembourg, hmm, Luxembourg - it's strange :)

1. We arrived in Luxembourg late in the evening, it was already dark and the city did not look very attractive. A special flavor was added by the ubiquitous bars of a dubious appearance and the blacks standing at the entrance to these bars, either to invite visitors, or to arrange goof-stops :) During dinner, at the next table, the goofy Russians, who now settled in Luxembourg, were causing a scandal. In general, the first impression of Luxembourg was not very good. In daylight it improved significantly, but was still a little strange.

2. Notre Dame Cathedral of Luxembourg.

3. Luxembourg seemed a little absurd. In the very center of the city there is a huge park... well, like a park - a bunch of different trees mixed together and some strange industrial buildings. Adolf Bridge. Not the one you were thinking about, but the local duke.

4. Plus, city buildings are located on different levels, which adds a little chaos. But in some places it looks very beautiful.

6. The population of Luxembourg is only half a million people. At the same time, GDP per capita is 10 times higher than in Russia.

7. The name of the city and country comes from the German “lucilinburch” - “small city”.

8. Luxembourg is the only duchy in the world.

11. Thanks to its historical sites, the entire city of Luxembourg has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

17. Luxembourg is the second largest investment fund center after the United States. So much for a dwarf state.

Overall the city seemed rather strange and not the safest at night. We didn’t have any particular desire to return to Luxembourg (perhaps we just got a little drunk on that trip :). Now I was looking through the photos and the city seemed very pleasant.
