The successor of Zeeger as head of the federal police will be Diter Roman , who currently leads the department of the German Ministry of Internal Affairs to combat terrorism.

Zeeger had previously visited Belarus, where he met with representatives of the authorities. Belarusian special forces also took place in Germany. A similar “exchange of experience” was discussed in the Bundestag.
