The “Formula of Good” project has been launched

Last Sunday, at our school, on the initiative of the youth affairs department of the Slobodsky district administration and the New Wave educational organization, a district school rally of volunteerism took place. Teams from nine educational institutions, totaling about 100 people, took part in the event. Although similar rallies had previously been held in the municipality, district camps of the Stimul activist group were held several times, but such mass representation was observed for the first time. This means that schoolchildren’s interest in positive and mutually enriching communication with each other is growing.

This is all the more significant because they all responded to participate in the “Formula of Good” project, which was launched during the rally. The idea of ​​the project arose from activists of the “New Wave” - a children’s and youth public organization of the Vakhrushevskaya school. They proposed a competition that should unite students in the desire to do good deeds. During the period from December to April, the announced teams will implement their own projects aimed at bringing good intentions to life. Every month there is a new area of ​​activity: social, civil, cultural, preventive, environmental. On a special page on the social network, the teams will post reports on the work done: videos, photographs, descriptions of cases and their results. On May 19, a new meeting will be held, where experience will be exchanged on participation in organizing summer sites and camp shifts, and the teams will receive a new task. The results of the “Formula for Good” will be summed up at a meeting in September 2016. Winners and runners-up will be determined in two subgroups: 1) schools in the Slobodsky district, 2) teams from the New Wave association. As a prize, the winners will receive participation in the regional rally “Territory of Volunteering” and the competition “Volunteer of the Vyatka Territory”.



But this is in the future, but for now the guys went through the “Test Path”, completing team-building tasks, and all delegations introduced themselves and met with the curators of the “Formula of Good” areas, who will be on the jury of the competition. Among the curators are public activists: Sykchina E.A., artistic director of the Bobinsky Palace of Culture, Zhuikova I.Yu., music worker at kindergarten No. 4 in the village of Vakhrushi, Dubitskaya T.A., chief specialist of the department of social development, Starodumov Anton, student of Vyat GSU, graduate of the Vakhrushev school, winner of the regional competition "Leader". The adults shared their vision of the project’s objectives and tried to push the team members to certain ideas. In the practical part of the event, the guys got acquainted with the technology of developing a good deed, the nuances of conducting social events and the use of information technology, took part in the photo-cross "What is Kindness?", and tried to independently prepare and defend a good deed project.



As part of the rally, a seminar was held for the leaders of school teams, at which Karaseva N.V., head of the Northern Educational District of the Ministry of Education of the Kirov Region, and Zinovieva S.G., senior counselor of the secondary school in the village of Vakhrushi, spoke. The representative of the ministry correlated the work of schools in the Slobodsky district in developing the volunteer movement with the objectives of state policy in the field of education and the ideas contained in the new federal state educational standard. The conclusion is this: this area of ​​educational work not only corresponds to state policy, but without it the new standard simply cannot be met. It’s nice that institutions in the Slobodsky district are among the first to develop it in our region. Zinovieva S.G. spoke about the experience of creating a school children's association, establishing a system for the effective functioning of student government bodies, and educating school leaders. Seventh-grader Anya Portnykh demonstrated an example of her team’s successful extracurricular project “Step into a Big Life,” which was not forgotten after its completion, but continued to live and received new development.



So, the start of the “Formula of Good” project has been given. We wish all the teams success on their chosen difficult but very bright path!
