On the eve of subbotniks, I was invited to “Echo of Moscow in Kirov” to talk on air about the upcoming subbotniks.
In the conversation, I focused in particular on the fact that in past years , garbage collected by city residents stood in courtyards and along roads for weeks. The bags were not taken out for a long time; some of the bags were torn and everything fell out on the roads.
The head of the Department of Improvement and Transport, Vyacheslav Nikolaevich Simakov, got in touch by phone. He promised that now bags of garbage and waste will be removed promptly. I promised that after the community cleanup in a couple of weeks I would drive around the city and take photographs.
On May 1, on Teatralnaya Square, he came up to me and said that bags of garbage were being taken out, that compared to last year, much more was taken out. During the conversation it was said that partial blame for the untimely removal lies with management companies, since some of them either do not remove, or do not inform what and where to remove.
Today I walked around the city.
It is noticeable that the city has been cleared of garbage. Basically there is no garbage, although there are some uncleaned places, but they are few. There are practically no bags of garbage. There are only small quantities and quite rare. But there is garbage that has not been removed from yards, as well as tree branches that have not been removed after pruning.
Garbage is garbage, but dirt... this is a separate song and a separate topic.

And next to the city administration they washed the fences.
