In the course of the Vinogradovsky district prosecutor’s office, an inspection of compliance with the legislation on counteracting extremism revealed a number of Internet resources, which posted information recognized by the extremist court.
In particular, the verification revealed the possibility of accessing information materials posted on behalf of Bourn (combat organization of Russian nationalists).
In accordance with applicable law, the Internet provider must limit access to it through the necessary filtration.
In order to prevent the further dissemination of anti-state ideas and the promotion of the activities of nationalist organizations, as well as the involvement of new supporters in its ranks, the prosecutor's office was sent to the court by the lawsuit to the Internet provider of Rostelecom OJSC demanding to restrict access to these sites.
The requirements of the prosecutor are satisfied with Rostelecom OJSC even before the trial in full.
Currently, access to sites containing extremist information indicated by the provider is completely limited, the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Arkhangelsk region said.
