Participants in the Corruption Council discussed a number of areas related to the improvement of the control and audit activities of the executive bodies of state power.

For the nine months of this year, the Revision Inspectorate of the Arkhangelsk Region revealed financial violations for 788 million rubles. Compared to last year, this is four times more. And if earlier the main violation was the misuse of funds, now it is ineffective. Some officials simply squandering budget money. And units are responsible for this. This year, only 22 cases of corruption were instituted in the region.

As Lidia Zykova, the head of the control and audit inspectorate in the Arkhangelsk Region, said on the Council, out of 404 institutions, only 134 were checked. Nine out of 17 state authorities conducted 61 checks in terms of ensuring the target, legitimate and efficient use of the regional budget.

According to the results of the checks, the total amount of financial violations identified increased by 4 times compared to last year and amounted to 787.9 million rubles, of which the misuse of funds amounted to 5.3 million rubles, 440 million - inefficient use of funds, 190.5 million - overpayment.

The largest amount of financial violations was discovered by the regional Ministry of Education and Science. Then the Ministry of Health is going on.

According to Lydia Zykova, the lack of control over rental payments, the failure to use equipment, non -payment of fines and taxes most often leads to inappropriate use of funds.

As the director of the legal department of the administration of the Governor and the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region, Igor Andrechev, said, it is important to teach each official to comply with the requirements of anti -corruption standards.
