Today is his birthday. After watching the film "Admiral" I had a desire to find out that this film is not true and what is true. I remember that with the last money I bought a lot of different literature on the history of the Civil War on the website of Bukinistic literature, including the biography of Kolchak, as a prominent scientist. This side of life is completely not disclosed in the film, but it is very wonderful .. For example, in its monograph, released in 1910, the ice of the Karsk and Siberian Seas, the processes of ice, the types of arctic ice are described in great detail. This information has not yet lost its relevance. The hypothesis about the drift of ice is put forward, confirmed by other studies in the future. This hypothesis should be called the "Hypothesis of the Big Ellipse Kolchak", although in the world literature there is the name of the Bfortes cycle, although Kolchak gave more accurate coordinates of the location of the center of this cycle. It so happened that my scientific interests intersect with scientific interests and searches of Kolchak, probably therefore this person somehow became for me on a special road. If there were more such men in Russia, then the country would be different, in my opinion.
