Yesterday I began to discuss with Boris Dubnov about the 7x7 site.
Then all the comments were erased, because the topic of the post was completely different.
But from a short discussion it became clear that the external observer is not quite obvious what our portal is, and even more so what we want to see it in the future.
So, we are now working in 11 regions. (The last of the regions is Karelia, until it is designated on the portal’s hat).
The optimal design for us is the presence of a coordinator in the region (usually a representative of a public organization) and the editorial office. But this is not the case everywhere, some regions come down to groups and a single edition works in them.
We want to cover all regions of the European part of the country where there are no cities of millionaires.
We counted such as many as 31 pieces.
I will not talk about the editorial policy - the prerogative of the editor -in -chief.
You will laugh, but the principle of independence of the editors from the founders really works for us. At least, the very possibility of intervention is formalized by the existence of a collegial body, where the editors have the majority, and also put in the strict framework of the regulations.
And imagine, all this is functioning!
