“The Lord punished the victims in the terrorist attack, since they went to the concert instead of spiritual exploits at the 1st week of Great Lent,” the inhuman-Farisean reaction of the “deeply churching” to the Crocus City Hall sounds something like this on March 22. After listening to the sermons of some brothers, the popular blogger, the rector of the St. George Church in Nakhabin near Moscow, brought this formula
Priest Pavel Ostrovsky
. Until 2018, he served in the same Nikolsky cathedral in the Pavshinsky floodplain, where several dozen people who fled from bullets of terrorists took refuge on March 22. The cathedral is located 200 meters from the no longer existing concert hall.
The most frankly, in his characteristic cattle, the Pharisee position was expressed by the "confessor of the Channel" Tsargrad "
Archpriest Andrey Tkachev
. The abomination, which poured into the space of its blogs immediately after the attack, has become a logical ending of the long -term “preaching” line of this representative of the Russian Orthodox Church, about which
She told in detail
"New".
“What are the concerts on Friday the first week of Great Lent? What are the shopping centers? - Tkachev was indignant. - Dancing, sales, laughter ... We are listening to all stupid ones in a row. And the post began ... When the fool will understand that he lives inside the Bible? Unless when they shoot at him point blank. ”
Despite the status of the TV star and the “favorite preacher of the Patriarch”, the degree of Tkachevsky cynicism turned out to be excessive even for the patriarchy, after which the posts from his blogs disappeared. But they were copied and continued to spread his associates and like-minded people-for example, the chief philosopher of the Kremlin
Alexander Dugin
. Tkachev’s “spirituality” was close to the ideologist of the gloomy, infernal-eclectic Duginsky doctrine of the Eternal War of the Equal-like principles-“Sushi civilization” with the “civilization of the sea”.
Patriarch Kirill is often disappointed in his favorites and appointments. He personally appointed Tkachev to be a preacher on his liturgy in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior or the Assumption Cathedral of the Kremlin, used it
like a ram for destruction
"Liberal" community about. Alexy Uminsky in the Moscow Church of the Trinity in Hokhlah. But from the patriarchal mercy to the Patriarchal Opala in the Russian Orthodox Church is now less than one step. If the new round of anti-ethmic activity of the special services will affect not only Muslims, but also the Orthodox (which would be logical), then Populists like Tkachev can hardly represent the Russian Orthodox Church in a public space.

Moreover, the adequate part of the patriarchy is clearly burdened by the presence of such entities in their ranks. “A sane, more or less cultural person will not allow himself to be such statements, all the more publicly,” says the head of the missionary department of the Novosibirsk Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church about the rhetoric of Tkachev
Archpriest Alexander Novopashin
.
O. Pavel Ostrovsky
testifies
About the "negative consensus", which has developed in the fundamentalist circles of the clergy regarding the victims of the attack. Here is an example:
“The girl who suffered in the attack went to the temple for help and came across a condemnation from the mouth of the priest. Next will be a quote: "
Have fun? God punished you. If the terrorist attack occurred in the church, you would have got into paradise, and so - who knows. Thank you for the fact that God gives you a chance to think about your sophisticated life. He gave you a chance
"... Absolute tactlessness and brutalism struck me, although I already thought that I had seen the bottom inside the church fence. But then they knocked from below."
By order of the Patriarchate, next to the burned Crocus City Hall, the panchids are serving every two hours, the priests are on duty in the building itself, where eyewitnesses of the attack or relatives of the victims come for their things, as well as in the hospitals where the wounded are delivered. The proposals are sounded to build a monument temple on the site of the tragedy.

This time the position of fundamentalists does not sound in unison with the official position of the Russian Orthodox Church, and it remains to be hoped that sooner or later healthy empathy will help to recall the victims of other tragedies that occur before our eyes in daily mode.
In the era of Patriarchate of Cyril, the official Russian Orthodox Church became a source of a number of initiatives and ideas, which, under the guise of reviving traditional values, strengthen the totalitarian principles of state systems and justify external expansion, including
military means
. Let us recall at least that the terms “Russian world”, “triune Rus'” or “liberal dictatorship of the West” were first sounded in Cyril's speeches and only then were adopted by the Kremlin.
After the 90s, the Moscow Patriarchate did not criticize the death penalty (still-“traditional value” in Rus'!), And after the terrorist attack, this ominous symbol of “popular unity” turned into some kind of fixed idea.
The head of the Affilized by the Russian Orthodox Church "Union of Orthodox Citizens"* (LNG*)
Valentin Lebedev
devoted to the "Orthodox justification" the widespread use of the death penalty
your official appeal
In response to a terrorist attack. As Lebedev is convinced, the abandonment of the death penalty is not the fulfillment of the God's commandment "not to kill", but "part of the liberal yoke, from which Russia is steadily getting rid of." Moreover
If we consider the executions not as an extreme and exceptional measure of punishment, namely, as a “traditional value”, then their inevitable mass will have to be accepted, as it was with the “pious sovereign” John Vasilyevich or the “Archangel of Victory” Joseph Vissarionovich.
Lebedev proclaims: “To stop on the tops, not uprooting the roots, criminal!”

Another “traditional value” that the incident on March 22 was updated is the indestructible union of Orthodox Russia with the Islamic world for the victory over
The "pseudo -take" West
. The Union of Orthodox Citizens requires "giving suspicions of Tajiks," since they are ethnically close to the Iran’s Persians, and "do not succumb to pogrom calls." Whoever the performers of the attack, guilty, according to “citizens”, are always known and in advance - this is the West and its “six” Ukraine. Therefore, the LNG characterizes the incident in Crocus City Hall as the “act of the state -forming Russian people genocide”.
At the end of last year, the theme of labor migrants became the subject of controversy (extremely rare in recent years!)
Patriarch Kirill
With power. He performed very tough at a meeting with students of the Moscow State Pedagogical University and at the World Russian Folk Cathedral. And at the final meeting of the clergy of Moscow on December 20 last year, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church summed up,
accusing
“Numerous foreign migrants” is that they do not want to integrate into Russian society and respect the “religious and cultural customs of our country”.
Without a reference to any data, Cyril said that, compared with last year, the situation worsened sharply, migrants began to create criminal extremist communities more often, and "the life of the indigenous population, including in Moscow, becomes almost unbearable."
The Patriarch made a forecast: attracting cheap labor for the sake of economic benefits will lead to the fact that "we will lose ourselves, lose Russia." Of course, delicately silent about why there is a shortage of workers in the country.
The topic of the struggle against migrants is specified by Deputy Cyril in the World Russian People's Cathedral, the owner of the Tsargrad holding
Konstantin Malofeev
. He is his concept
formulates like this
: Labor migrants from Central Asia threaten Russia's national security because they began to take money for terrorist attacks from the CIA and SBU. “The migration flow from Central Asia,” says the owner of Constantinople, “is an ideal nutritional base for a terrorist underground and constant threat ... Migrants are cannon meat for the second front.” Calling them “brainless guns”, Malofeev calls on to introduce a visa regime with the countries from where the migrants come from, and to ban their families to enter Russia (here are “family values”!).
All this, of course, has nothing to do with Orthodoxy in his true understanding, but to xenophobia (if not tougher) - directly.

... The contradictory reaction of the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church to the terrorist attack in the "Entertainment Center" shows the incompatibility of the subculture of the "church" in Russia in Russia with a compassionate image of the gospel Jesus. Real extremism, which ideologically fuel terrorist practices, on the one hand, "does not have national or religious affiliation." On the other hand, he exploits national and religious slogans, intolerance and xenophobia, bringing them to extremely simple, straightforward formulas, appealing to human passions. Formulas resembling those in which the State Propaganda began to play.
Terrorism is not the fruit of some specific Islamic subculture. In the modern world, the extermination of entire cities or genocide of entire peoples “justify” atheistic, Christian or even Buddhist (as in the case of the people of Rohingya) slogans. Therefore, attempts by the “Orthodox” justification of terrorist actions (including under the guise of wild reasoning about the need for post) deserve no less attention, including power structures than the same attempts, but in terms of Islam.
