On the eve of the Olympics, Tomsk resident Natalya Vysotskaya visited Sochi and the village of Rosa Khutor, where the main tracks for skiers and bobsledders are located.
Olympic venues are shown to tourists from the so-called presidential observation deck. Tourists are not allowed into the sites themselves due to recent events in Volgograd.
“In the village of Rosa Khutor there are all the main ski slopes, there are also bobsleigh and ski jumping tracks. We climbed to a height of more than 2.3 km. The length of all routes is more than 10 thousand km - the longest ones were built in Russia. They also say that we have the safest bobsleigh track,” Natalya Vysotskaya said in her letter.
At the same time, there are already signs in Russian and English all over Sochi, so it’s difficult to get lost.
