The first tape of the 34-year-old Australian director George Miller became a real sensation all over the world. It was literally for nothing to be sold to the Americans for the world film distribution and as a result brought giant income in the amount of one hundred million dollars! Thus, an insignificant budget (only $ 350 thousand) was surpassed almost 286 times! And thanks to this, Mad Max was even included in 1998 in the Guinness Book of Records as the most profitable film in the world. And his director found the right path to embody his artistic preferences, choosing the genre of a fantastic action movie, imbued with ideas, sometimes gloomy anti -utopias, which turned out to be so common in the art of the twentieth century.

The police max from the near future was nicknamed the insane for the irreconcilable, cruel, total struggle with the road gangs of even more crazy renegades on motorcycles and cars. In this war, not for life, but the wife and child of Max die for death - and from now on his revenge to the bandits becomes especially ruthless.
Miller perfectly feels in the “Mad Max” it is the kinetic essence of cinema, rightly believing that the cinema should initially be built on the action, movement, change. He skillfully creates what in English is Non Stop Action, that is, a non -stop, ongoing action, unpredictable deployment of the narrative. This can recall the effect of a promoting, straightening spring, which was previously tightly compressed. And just a similar “unclenching plot” gives powerful energy to everything that happens in this tape, rushing at the same incredible speed that Max himself chases, in whose role the 23-year-old actor Mel Gibson, the future world celebrity, first became famous in the movie.
It is not surprising that after such grandiose success, George Miller was then shot two more continuations about the “crazy Max”.
