A rally in Kazan

On Monday, January 9, a rally of protest was held in the center of Kazan. This time it was a completely non -elected topic. The protesters - and there were about a thousand people - spoke out against the abolition of preferential travel in public transport.
The government of Tatarstan decided that beneficiaries live well and reduced their free travel and trolleybuses to 30 trips per month. Previously, it was possible to ride unlimitedly. This caused the anger of the townspeople.
Interestingly, most protesters are pensioners. Gathered for a rally without any social networks.
A rally of 1000 people for Kazan is a rarity.
