A ceremony for the reburial of the remains of front-line soldier Nikolai Bazhukov took place at the Southern Memorial Cemetery. They were discovered by search engines as part of the Memory Watch campaign in the Kaluga region near the village of Zerno. Until recently, the Red Army soldier was listed as missing in action. The remains were identified from the barely preserved data in the soldier’s medallion.
