The number of materials used by me for creativity is steadily increasing, in addition, a kitten is also growing in my apartment. And I constantly need to qualitatively hide my colors, brushes, papers, scissors, buttons and many adhesive solutions. It is unsafe to leave all this on the desktop, if only because the kitten tastes and lets it into the game everything that he sees. Far shelves in the closet are a great place to store things and their concealment from the eyes of a fluffy hut. But what about those that I use constantly? Home -made boxes can serve as a solution. I thought it would be great to have a storage box under the guise of a book, thereby adding a working atmosphere of charm, and not just utilles.

Materials:
- Cardboard boxes "Mitten Stail" ();
- small boards (chipboard or plywood);
- cardboard tubes (rolls from paper towels, for example);
- Scissors;
- Chancellery knife;
- hot glue;
- White glue or Mod Podge (this is a glossy glue for paper, combining the properties of glue, varnish and sealant);
- Decorative paper (you can also use geographical maps, evacuation plans or old wallpapers).

Instructions:
1. White glue or Mod Podge with decorative paper is used to cover the edge of the box (where the pages of the book will be visible). I used woven white strip of paper, which made the "pages" more realistic.

2. Cutting two rectangles from chipboard is the future “cover” of our book. Take the length of the rectangles with a margin, the size should be a little longer than the "roots".
3. Cut the cardboard tubes to the desired size. They should be the same length as the rectangles.

4. Using hot glue, fasten the spine to the box. Twist the edges of the tubes, cut off excess.
5. Then we glue the rectangles from the chipboard, make sure that the edges of the rectangles are on the same level.

6. We completely glue the book skeleton with decorative paper (use white or modge glue).
7. On the spine you can place a name so as not to forget what is stored there.
