The singer and accordionist from Seattle (USA) plays carnival music heavily mixed with improvisation, making each concert a real theatrical performance and focusing on intimate venues filled with fairly heated audiences. Sergey Kalugin and Pyotr Akimov . Guitar virtuoso and esoteric poet Kalugin is known as the author of ballads that are quite long in time with an almost classical structure of verse and a very careful use of Old Church Slavonicisms. His music combines both classical guitar and traditional rock musical motifs. Akimov is considered the best cellist of our rock, having played with the groups “Nautilus Pompilius”, “Kolibri”, “Vykhod”, with B.G., CeeLei, Olga Arefieva. The Fire Of Anstolia. Fire of Anatolia is the culture of Ancient Anatolia; these are Turkish, Azerbaijani, Georgian and Armenian motifs; dance figures of the peoples of the Black and Aegean Seas, the Mediterranean, the Persian Gulf, Central Asia and the Arab East. "American Splendor" (USA, 2003). Directed by Sheri Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. Starring Chris Ambrose, Joey Kraikar, Josh Hutcherson, Paul Giamatti, Hope Davis, Harvey Pekar. The film is based on the cult comics among intellectuals about Harvey Pekar, a bore and neurasthenic in his late thirties who is unsuccessfully struggling with a midlife crisis and sits in the reception desk of a hospital in Cleveland. A comedy about a boy who is drafted right from under the aisle for training in the Swiss army. “Date with a Star” (USA, 2004). Directed by Robert Luketic. Starring Kate Bosworth, Topher Grace, Josh Duhamel, Nathan Lane. A romantic comedy about Rosalie, a fast food waitress in West Virginia who wins a competition for a date with silver screen idol Ted Hamilton.
