Watch The Throne

One of the main events took place in the hip-hop of the industry, a joint album of two outstanding RAP performers Kanye West and Jay-Z called Watch The Throne was released.

The connoisseurs of the genre, definitely, know that the creative path of these giants has been intersected more than once. Back in the 90s, when Kanye did not dare to take the microphone in his hands, and Jay already read in full, it occurred to them to create something in common. For the first prisoned track, Kanye received $ 1000 , and even then everyone began to understand that his non-standard thinking, and the original approach to music would lead him to something more.

The first composition that foreshadowed that the album would be very impudent was “HAM” . In this track, Jay “threw” a couple of humiliating phrases towards Lil Wein. At the moment, 2 single - “HAM” and “OTIS” have been released from the album (this composition debuted in the Billboard chart from 12th line). The third single - “Lift Off” with the participation of Bjenz will be released on August 23.

The best producers of our time took part in the album’s recording: Swizz Beatz, Rza, Hit-Boy, No id, as well as their vocal skills demonstrated: Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, La Roux and others.

On the initiative of West, the creative director of Givenchy Riccardo Silence would be invited to create the cover of the album. In general, Kanye is a fan of attracting attention with original covers to his albums. For example, to the last solo album, called My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy , the cover was drawn by George Condo and caused public resonance, as it turned out to be unreasonable for retail chains.
