Known for his antics and getting into various scandals, citizen Polonsky was terribly offended by Prokhorovsky RBC and wrote an open letter to both of them, saying that it is not good to kick a lying campaign just because it is lying and cannot give money for its advertising. The letter was composed practically without errors, with commas placed and without loss of cause-and-effect relationships.
Well, at the end of his petition, the noble tower builder and owner of the ass address suddenly became concerned about Prokhorov’s income from RBC, the moral character of journalists and the building of democracy in general, demanding from Prokhorov personally the immediate elimination of the errors and shortcomings in the work of RBC pointed out by him, Polonsky, with a thorough investigation of the facts corruption and abuse of trust of readers:
I’m not even talking about the moral and ethical side, although I believe that the main task of the media and their responsibility to readers is to publish competent and objective information, which in turn inspires the trust of readers and increases circulation, and, accordingly, advertising and income for shareholders. Since shareholders directly benefit from such tactics, non-intervention in this case, to put it mildly, defies any logic, and at most, on the contrary, damages both democracy and business - and, as a consequence, the country.
In light of the above circumstances, I would ask that this open letter be considered an official request to conduct an internal investigation into the media holding for corruption and abuse of official position and the trust of readers. I present to the RBC media holding a demand for the return of all the money to our company that was paid to RBC in previous years, as well as an apology to our company and to me personally.
In Russia there is a tradition of treating all sorts of blessed and holy fools with understanding and sympathy, unless, of course, they cause trouble to peaceful citizens and do not attract attention to themselves with all sorts of indecent antics, otherwise it is customary to call the orderlies and give charitable injections in the ass , and in the case of our constantly beaten city wretched, it also goes straight to the brain.
