Back in September 2007, information surfaced about the possible creation of the so -called North American Union, which will include the United States, Canada and Mexico, and the introduction of a single currency - its alleged name “Amero”. Such a combination scheme can become a serious counterweight to the European Union and the euro.

For the first time, the public heard about the new currency from an independent American reporter under the pseudonym Hal Turner (real name Harold Charles Turner), which leads a radio broadcast and a blog called Hal Turner Show . Turner showed photographs of the coins of Amero: according to Hal, they fell into his hands from the Treasury employee, whose name he, of course, did not name.

After that, Turner was accused of falsification, several sites immediately appeared on the Internet where you can buy Amero - not real coins, but simply designer fakes, which, of course, undermined the arguments of the journalist. For example, amerovalue and amerocurrency and others .

At that time, Turner's theory looked as follows - the United States would intensively spend its national currency, throwing it off to other countries, which will lead to the bankruptcy of the country and default. It can only be avoided by creating a union of three states, which will be supported by the introduction of a single currency. For these countries, a special dollar exchange mode will be created on Amero, while the rest of the world will lose almost everything. For example, now China is investing billions of dollars in the US economy, which, when introducing a new currency, will instantly depreciate. All countries of the world will have to get rid of dollars on the terms of the North American Union, from which its economy will get rid of the crisis and begin to flourish.

In 2007, all these theories seemed either delirium or bold assumptions, now the predictions began to come true. There is a chance that Obama’s plan to restore the US economy is the creation of a union and the introduction of a single currency. Indirect confirmation of this (very indirect) - the results of the meeting of the presidents of Russia and South America, who agreed to make all calculations with the converting of national currencies, avoiding the use of the dollar.
