The term of stay in Russia of the “authority” Vladimir Tatarenkov expires on Sunday, but it is possible that it will be extended. At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, on June 3, Tatarenkov was transported from Greece to Krasnoyarsk for three months to conduct investigative actions. Before that, he was held in a prison in the Greek city of Patras, serving a sentence for illegal possession of weapons. In Russia, Tatarenkov is accused of organizing a criminal group that committed 11 contract killings. It was assumed that he would talk about the involvement of the notorious former director of the Krasnoyarsk Aluminum Plant, Anatoly Bykov, in a number of crimes. However, according to Tatarenkov’s lawyer, his client declared no confidence in the investigators and is not giving evidence.
