On the run

The government of the Volgograd region responded in an original way to the call of social activists to take part in the annual marathon. According to the order, about 3,000 employees of government agencies of the city must take part in a 700-meter costume race, which starts on May 6 on the Upper Terrace of the Central Embankment of Volgograd. The column of fleeing people will be led personally by Governor Sergei Bozhenov and members of the regional government.

The government is apparently convinced that the race of dressed-up state employees will help convince FIFA to keep the regional center on the list of cities participating in the world championship.

Creative officials suggested that doctors, of whom there should be 300 people according to the compiled lists, run straight in white coats. By analogy, we can assume that teachers will be seen with pointers and globes in their hands, kindergarten teachers with pots under their arms, firefighters with hydrants, etc.

The editors are confused, either to laugh, or to start hiding the children, otherwise neither an adult, nor even a child’s psyche can withstand such a number of clowns with unhappy and haggard faces.
