Tomsk resident Daria Lisichkina sent photographs of an empty and partially broken “innovation stop” to the editorial office of the TV2 news agency website.
In the summer, the Tomsk mayor's office decided to abandon the project of innovative stops, equipped, in addition to wi-fi and toilets, also with kiosks with shops and cafes. At that time, five stops had already been built, another five were under construction. They did not demolish them, but they have not yet been put into operation.
One of these stops is located near the Kedr sports complex.
“By the way, entrepreneurs are unlikely to want to trade in this place - the passenger flow in that direction is small, and the stop, although ready, is empty. If the shopping pavilions are still in order, then the street seats for those waiting for transport have already become a target of vandals,” she noted in his letter from Tomsk.
