Kava

Yes, it is "Kava". Because if coffee, then in Lviv. And if coffee is in Lviv, then this is certainly already "kawa" :)

For true coffee lovers, I propose to pamper myself with a weekend in Lviv (I admit that "to pamper myself with a weekend in Lviv" and is my autumn promise).

The obligatory program of such a weekend should include an hour or two of a pleasant conversation or odoriko pacification over a cup of fragrant hot coffee in such cozy, purely Lviv towns, such as “gildes of the Dukat”, “fresco” or “PID Signoy of the Lake” (names of Ukrainian, without translation).

It is possible that it will be difficult to abandon any chocolate survey or a hot hearty sandwich (oh, this is not something banal, believe me!)

It is very important to wander around the city (so that you want to relax and warm up with an invigorating drink) and suddenly discover some new, wonderful criminal. And from that moment you will have the right to consider this criminal precisely your own. This happens in Lviv ..))

For those to whom Ukrainian (and even more so Lviv Ukrainian) is a curiosity, I propose a small vocabulary -breeding:

• Kava - Coffee (from Polish Kawa - the name of the province of Kaffa, Ethiopia, which is considered the birthplace of coffee ).
• Kav'yarnya - a coffee shop, a cafe, where, as a rule, they serve coffee, tea, desserts (in Lviv you can often find the name of a more obsolete - Kavarny ); Art -kav'yarnya - here you can enjoy not only coffee, but also jazz, for example, or an exhibition of artwork.
• Knaip is also a gastronomic institution, but there, in addition to coffee, you will definitely find alcohol.
• Tsuckerny - here, in addition to coffee, primarily sweets ( malt ), goodies ( lasoshchi ), sweets ( tsukeraki ). In Lviv, you can find the confectionery creations of Hand-Made (like "fresco").
• Channel is a sandwich, more often hot than cold, usually open, that is, it is a slice of bread with a variety of ingredients from above.
• Chokolyada is the Polish pronunciation of the word "chocolate". Having tried a real Lviv chocolate, then it will be difficult to be content with factory :) (and in the "Golden Dukat" there is a miracle - "Chokolyadi Fountain"!)
• Filіzhananka is a chalk (Polish origin of the word). If you are in Lviv, then make an order, saying "Filіzhanank Kavi" - you will like it :)
