From November 2, 2012, Moscow will again join the global world “brainstorm” by solving pressing environmental problems-the unique volunteer event Global Sustainability JAM. The organizer was the creative campus of Hive with the assistance of the Blank design management team and the independent Russian designers of Russia, and the Faculty of Design and Advertising of the Moscow Financial and Industrial University “Synergy” , which will be held on the site of which will be held by jam.

For the first time, the idea of gathering and diving on a given topic within the framework of the design of the design thinking (method of designing new products and services), designers from Germany Markus Hormess and Adam Lawrens (Adam Lawrens) proposed to the world community. Moreover, initially Jam was dedicated to the topic of the service.
In March 2011, more than 1,200 people in 50 cities of America, Europe, Asia and Australia supported their initiative. The teams included students, designers, programmers, scientists, businessmen and just people united by passion for the growing service design industry. At the beginning of the event, they received a single task from the Global Council called very widely-“Modern Super-Heroes”. As a result of the two -day work of the first Global Service Jam, which consisted of studying the topic, reality research, collecting and “weeding” ideas, as well as creating a prototype of the new service, 120 projects were submitted. The presentations were posted on the unified global platform www.globalServiceJam.org and became a real clamping of current service solutions. Some of them even received funding from venture funds or were implemented by social services of different countries. During the second Global Service Jam, which took place in the fall of 2011, Russia also joined the process of finding new ideas - the event was held in Moscow twice.
Goals Global Sustainability Jam:
• Creation and strengthening of local interdisciplinary communities uniting specialists from various industries.
• involvement of specialists from different countries in global dialogue, cooperation and exchange of experience with the participants of the world community design.
• Transfer of knowledge and skills that help effectively solve complex, poorly constructed tasks in the field of products and services.
• attracting attention to environmental protection problems.
Jam is not just the power of the "collective mind." This is an opportunity to meet in the space of the game and creativity with people that you would never have met in life. The opportunity to freely and easily exchange opinions and insights, use the experience and knowledge of each other, not to conquer your rightness, but to listen and combine efforts, creating something truly non -standard and useful for a large number of people.
It is a sin not to use such an intellectual resource to solve the most pressing problems of mankind - the problems of the economic and environmental stability of the planet. Therefore, in October 2011, on the same principle, the first Global Sustainability Jam was organized, which took 800 people from 40 cities. Presentations of their projects can be found at http: //planet.globalsustainabilityjam.or g/forum/Categories/Projects .
This year, the organizers and leading Moscow session Global Sustainability Jam are experts in the field of design work on the design of “design-thinking” and coaching from the creative campus Hive.
The design is a man-oriented approach to the development of innovation, it is based on the tools used by the best designers and developers of the world for an effective design process, ”says HIVE founder, designer and business trainer Galina Yanovskaya, his strength is in the ability to find and use the hidden needs of a person, in orientation precisely on relevant, meaningful decisions. Our team studied these methods from teachers and graduates of design schools (D.School) Stanford and Potsdam. We prepared and led Global Service Jam in Moscow as part of the Design Thinking Lab team, which was its organizer last year. The results were amazing, even Russian investors appreciated them. Together with teams from another 40 countries, 3 Russian teams in 48 hours came up with 3 new services. One of them was Family Connector - a game service that solves the problem of communications between adolescents 12+ and their parents. During the presentation of projects at the end of the second day of Jem, this idea received the approval of Arkady Morenis - the head of the factory of the startups "Glavstart".
We invite everyone who wants to accept the call and come up with something real to save the world in 48 hours. Anyone who feels creative abilities, and has long been looking for a way to apply them on a global scale. This year, the results of JAM'a will be accepted and evaluated by representatives of the venture fund Synergy Innovation and the COLL COLLING. So you have a chance to come up with your startup and immediately find your business angel.
