EXHIBITIONS

"Vasily Sitnikov and his school." The first retrospective personal exhibition in Russia of one of the most prominent artists of post-war “unofficial art”, a legend of the Moscow underground, who emigrated from Russia in 1975. Anthony Gormley. His sculptural ensemble features frame rays-antennas-nerves welded from stainless steel. These rays-nerves model the figures of real residents of the English city of Gateshead. The sculptor took plaster casts of 200 volunteer assistants. Then metal rods welded together were inserted into the empty plaster casts. The plaster was finally broken, and a radiant person was obtained with the preservation of individual physiological characteristics.
