A record batch of weapons was seized on Monday from the house of one of the residents of the village of Ushakovo in the suburbs of Tyumen by local criminal investigation officers. When the detectives came to search him, to their surprise, they discovered a truly gigantic arsenal in the basement. 45 pistols of various brands, 18 Kalashnikov assault rifles, 30 hunting and military carbines and shotguns, 81 grenades, 45 fuses, a demolition machine, six homemade bombs, three briquettes of plastic, 21 kg of TNT in checkers and more than a million cartridges were stored there. Seven members of the gang, suspected of involvement in the murder of a traffic inspector, have already been detained. The investigation is finding out where they got so many weapons from.
