The Patriots of Russia party was suspended from participation in the elections of deputies to the City Duma. This decision was made today by the municipal election commission. During the verification of signature sheets in support of the party's nomination in the municipal elections, over four hundred false signatures were discovered. The election commission also has other claims against the Patriots. The leader of the Tomsk branch of the party, Evgeny Krotov, in turn, also has complaints against the election commission itself. He intends to appeal to the prosecutor's office and the Central Election Commission with a demand to remove the head of the city election commission, Tatyana Arbuzova, from office.
